Don't do either — rent a pickup truck or moving truck from UHaul and dump everything at [James G Grant Co](http://www.jamesggrantco.com/transfer-station.html). They charge $150 per ton. I dumped about 1200 lbs of construction debris for $150 total (including truck rental). $70 for a 6 hour pickup rental from Uhaul (they charge by the mile) $80 for offloading at James G Grant's Transfer station ($50 minimum).

We need a couple of double-hung windows replaced. Do any group members have a recommendation on a local contractor/handyman based on their personal experience?
