Hey everyone, I am thinking of investing in a GPS watch/HRM and am between the Garmin Forerunner 310XT and Timex IRONMAN Run Trainer 1.0 GPS. Does anyone have either of...
Tariq A. replied:
I dont have the Timex so I can't comment on it. However, I do have the 310 xt and love it. Been using it for the past 3 years with no issues. Both are good watches but the Garmin is widely used thus you will get a lot more support. Plus you can get it very cheap now since they introduce the 910 last year. HRM USA has a $100 off on the 310: http://shrsl.com/?~3 jgu

Motor City CC has its hiccups and issues behind the scenes (they're getting better), but overall it's the MI show where I always do well sales-wise. It's the best attended and best promoted (all the news outlets do promo spots with the guests, radio, etc). It's also the only show I do every year where I get to go home and sleep in my own bed at night, so I'm a bit biased towards it:)
