Just not Dr. Steinberg. My daughter had an awful experience as a teenager. Not here say, I was there!
If you have been treated for melanoma in the area, can you recommend a doctor for follow up skin checks who is thorough and cautious? I am looking for a dermatologist...

Looking for a great dermatologist in Columbus. TIA.

Not a fan of Lane Dermatology due to a concern they caused. My son now goes to Dr. Morgan. He accepts TriCare is is very caring about his patients. He listens to their needs and does what is in the patient's best interest! We are very pleased with Dr. Morgan. 706-649-4000

Dr Steinberg is excellent. He's a perfectionist. Consultation is free (unless its something medical...not cosmetic). I've heard Dr Lane is good, however they said it was going to be a $50 consult fee for 15 minutes just to see his assistant, plus another $50 to see the actual Dr. I was looking into the fractional laser therapy.

Shannon B. replied:
Dr. Flandry is another option. I am not certain if she accepts TriCare but you can check. You may also need to be seen by a rheumatologist for the psoriasis. My coworker sees Dr.Vivas and was pretty happy with her care. http://www.riverderm.com/

If you happen to have skin cancer please be very picky about which dermatologist you let handle it. After unsatisfactory results in Columbus I went to Dr Barth in LaGrange for surgery. That was over 7 yrs ago and I'm pleased with the results. My small spot was on my face. And my primary care doc did not believe it was anything serious. The biopsy proved it was skin cancer. Feel free to contact me for more info.
Jami V. replied:
Not sure if you are military or not, but if you are, you will need to go through your PCM to get a referral. I saw Dr. Elm on post for my skin cancer biopsy and mole removal. He was great.
I need a good dermatologist in Columbus who is good with children and eczema. Please give suggestions.
Shanell J. replied:
We were perscribed mometasome ointment/cream by Dr. Hurst. Anytime there Is a flare, and I put it on, it's gone just hours later. I haven't had any problems since and I only use that if it comes.
Shonte' P. replied:
Yes its a struggle. He was going to Dr. Mclean but she is hard to get in for an appointment. We use cetaphil soap and lotion with aquaphor and triamcinolone for the break outs which helps tremendously.
Carolyn P. replied:
