If you want small shops, check out the bridal districts in Covington and Reading.

I got my dress at Cincinnati Bridal and Formal 2 years ago and loved my experience. They have a huge selection and the staff was really helpful to me. They don't take appointments on weekends but there are plenty of consultants there, I would just make sure to ask for a private room. They have a HUGE selection, anything from a couple hundred dollars to the couture end. Also, they give a great discount on subsequent bridesmaids dresses if you buy there. It is located in the bridal district there so there are a handful of smaller boutiques on the same street within walking distance. I hope this helps!

I used to work at a cafe in reading across the street from an awesome bridal shop with a super cool owner. I'd walk her takeout over to her when she was pregnant a few winters ago. Her name is Carrie karibou and I think that's the name of her shop. Also a pro tip, you'll get much better service at a bridal shop if you go not on a Saturday, anywhere will be super busy and those ladies get bored during the week.

the bridal district in reading is pretty famous, actually.

Another vote for Reading's bridal district. Stay away from David Bridal. Source: ex-David's Bridal alterations specialist

In the bridal district is Forever Yours Truly Kelly. Consignment shop where you can get a really nice dress for a reasonable price.

I'm not going to lie. I didn't have a good experience shopping for my dress in Cincinnati. I ended up trying a few on to figure out what looked good on me. Then I bought a sample dress for 90% off at preownedweddingdresses.com ... I saved a ton of money and then resold the dress after the wedding. It's not for everyone, but I thought it was awesome.

Elegant Bride in Dublin looks nice.
Stefanie S. replied:
Paper Occasions in Dublin would be a great place to go to they have wedding invitations and wedding accessories bills and things like that but the owner of the boutique Michelle used to work in New York City for some big-name wedding dress designers and she has started to design her own gowns and they are reasonable and very very beautiful that would be worth checking out
Stefanie S. replied:
Also Alfred Angelo in Dublin would be a good place to go to I believe their prices are reasonable
