does anyone know exactly where this was? ... says 'lake shore railroad near camp perry'

This is the Buckeye Blvd. crossing looking east.https://www.facebook.com/groups/254383547923783/photos/...
Chazz A. replied:
Within PC and Gypsum, there were a lot of spurs on the south side of the tracks but these were all relatively short, with no bridges and didn't connect back to any tracks.
Chazz A. replied:
However, this is a great article. And it does mention improvements such as "ways and structures" (ie bridges and trestles)http://publications.ohiohistory.org/ohstemplate.cfm...
Linda B. replied:
I grew up west of Indusrial Park and Daddy worked at Camp Perry As maintenance. If you look at the arial version notice how Rte Two at the time, now Lakeshire Dr where I lived. Notice how the road gets close to the track. I mean close. Then the big railroad should head toward LaCarne. A little west of three-mile crossing. The comuter train then goes over three mile crossing along, Lakeshore Dr now. Just guessing.
Chazz A. replied:
This show the interurban path (red) within PC city limits.http://beatlesource.com/_rt3.jpg
Chazz A. replied:
The LS&MS tracks never passed south of town. With the exception of changing from Lakeshore Dr. to Jackknife bridge, they've followed the same path since they were first built in 1852. The only spurs west of town (and south of the river) were Matthews Boat and PC Lumber. Camp Perry also had a spur.
Chazz A. replied:
Any chance you're thinking of the light structure (ie "the steel columns/beams"). It's a little west of the interurban crossing at Buckeye. It's near the south entrance to The Fountains. Photo is 1958 looking east.

Hello my amazing fellow Greeters! Anyone know the name of the camp -- and, ideally, a contact -- for the camp that helps facilitate accessibility of the playa to burners...
Maybe M. replied:
They used to be known as Hot Wheelz back in those days, then the BRC Department of Mobility, and last year the BRC Dimension of Accessibility. They could be reached at brcaccessibility AT gmail.com right before the Burn last year; will probably still work now! I know they have been going through many transitions over the past few years, so I'm not sure who the best contact person would be. But, I'm sure someone will respond to your emails!
