Want posture? If you don't want to do "heavy exercise" you could take piano lessons or do pilates, maybe hire a nun with a ruler to follow you around and smack you when ever you slouch. Sorry it got away from me... There are so many good ones, I use Fitness 19 and I like their prices and trainers. I wasn't thrilled with my 1 st one becasue she did not kick my ass enough, but now I have a guy who really gets me moving. I'd say you just need to find your gym and scout. Good luck

Jaron Fonte Nicest person ever to be born. Somehow also crazy motivational. Columbus based. Will get you F-ing cut in no time. He has a Canton Ohio phone number though: 330-412-4826Army vet, 2 tours. We worked out together at my gym for about a year, he charges about 1/2 the "trainers" rates if you buy in-house and he doesn't try to sell you any junk thank god. Tell him "Jon S" referred you. Get yourself 3 free workouts and get me 3 free ones too.

My brother used to train with Dinos Angelas who is currently at Sweatbox Fitness in Grandview. It depends on your weight loss and fitness goals.
less than 50 lb and/or specific sport/fitness goal - no idea, but there a lots of personal trainers around. Try a few out, see who motivates you.
greater than 50lb and/or health conditions - medically supervised weightloss is the way to go - https://www.ohiohealth.com/services/weight-management/
I have been in the program for 2+ years and consider myself a success. It is a medical program with MD's, exercise physiologists, registered dietitians, and psychologists.
No one wants to hear this, but it's true. You cannot lose weight by exercise alone, "you can't outrun a cheeseburger" etc, etc. Adding exercise can be a pain (literally), but changing your diet permanently is a major, major life change.

Idk if Dublin is too far out of your way, but I'd recommend you check out https://www.traininggroundsgym.com/
It's a gym only for personal trainers and their clients. Each personal trainer there is an entrepreneur and rents time and a station from the gym, so each trainer has different personalities which shows in their attention to their clients. If you go there and talk to the owner of the gym (Eddie is always on site) he can recommend a few of the trainers for you to meet with and then you can decide which of them you'd like to work with based on your own goal setting. Their methods and pricing etc are all different.
