Capital University has a community music program that might be what you are looking for. http://www.capital.edu/Capital-SectionContentPB.aspx?pageid=6261

It probably will come down to how much you're willing to pay an instructor and what your goals are (how long you want to be taking lessons, what and how you want to be able to play, etc.). Are you just looking to develop a hobby for fun, or do you want to be able to play professionally someday?

My boyfriend works for a studio in Powell that sends many of their instructors to the homes of their clients. If you have a piano, this may be an option for you. The studio is called GnG music instruction. In terms of how much you pay, my mom is a classically trained pianist and self-employed in music. She charges $20 a half hour for lessons which is what I usually see for lessons. Good luck and have fun!

I have a friend who teaches, I'm not sure how much she charges and if she is taking on new students at this time but I would happily find out for you. You might also want to check with grad students at the OSU music department too.

Put up a flyer or two in the music building at OSU, you'll probably get a phenomenal grad student or two willing to make some cash on the side.

If you're willing to make the drive down to Grove City, I know of an excellent piano teacher 5 minutes from 71-S. Prices are reasonable, around $30 for an hour. PM me for more details. e: Scheduling is very flexible as well.

Try calling up some nearby high schools and ask for their music department. Many music teachers and accompanists generate additional income by giving private lessons. I was taught piano by my church's organist and a high school choir accompanist over the various years.
