Try asking on http://nextdoor.com to find someone right in your neighborhood who would probably charge a lot less than a commercial business. Also, it would help if you indicate what part of the city you live in as individuals would not want to travel a great distance to your home since cleaners aren't charging you for their travel time.

One more idea: if you call or visit your local senior center you will probably see an ad on their bulletin board for cleaning services. The staff there will be likely to know or be able to vouch for that person.

My aunt uses cottage care. They come only once a month to do some detailing that helps my aunt out a little. The people are super friendly.
