Try Centralized Moving System. Chris Gonzalez 210 241-7450 We used him when we moved from TX a year and half ago and then our son used him last Aug to move here too. He's awesome & by far had the best rates! Tell him Karen from AZ is recommending him.
Andrew S. replied:
Try uship.com has worked great for me in the past. Different companies submit bids and you can read reviews on each shipper. I met Donald Greene on uship and he is the guy I trust for cross country hauls.
Lisa D. replied:
Loved Stevens out if Michigan to AZ. We went with a partial portion of truck. I believe it was by 10 ft sections. They loaded and unloaded.
Angel R. replied:
Judy I just moved here from Olathe KS I used Mayflower and i even quoted them a price I needed and they accepted it is Studdard Mayflower in MO
Karen W. replied:
Mayflower and Centralized Moving are the same company....All our paperwork said Centralized but the truck was Mayflower....they really do work hard to make it affordable!
ISO horse transport company. Does anyone have any recommendations for a safe, reliable, and reputable horse transport company? Looking to ship my mare from the west...
Alana H. replied:
Jim Welsh of Elite Horse Transportation from Waco, KY
Jess W. replied:
Look into Bob Hubbard. I lived on the west coast over seven years, they are the go to company out there for sure.
Mikki P. replied:
Hi Erica, I own a legal and DOT compliant transport company with excellent reviews. Long time horse owners, we take care of your horse as if they were our own horses. We provide updates, hay, water, bedding for the duration of the trip at affordable prices. If you would like a quote message me with the pick up and drop off city and state as well as your preferred time frame for transport. https://www.facebook.com/Milestone-Equine-Farm-Transportation-218280928259714
Debbie K. replied:
JNS Transport. They eere great with my sister's 33 year old arabian that went from Ohio to California. They have a FB page and great reviews!
Amanda W. replied:
We had one shipped using Bob Hubbard from IL to Denver, and they had problems getting the horse to eat & drink on the trip. Right now, going rate is about $2/mile for the professional haulers. To fly, we were quoted $4300 from Los Angeles to Louisville.

Equine Express
Karen K. replied:
Brook Ledge one of the best. Out of Lexington, KY and Oleg, PA ships nationwide.

I just used Integrity Movers a few months ago and didn't have problems and they were the best price I got. I've used Leaders in the past as well and they were good as well. Just call around and get some quotes.

Just curious because I am moving in two months. For a move across town, let's say from Bethel Rd. to Clintonville, what would a moving company set me back? $500? $800? I have no concept or frame of reference.

Leaders. 2 Men & A Truck.
WorldsWorstTroll replied:
If my father-in-law was still alive, I would recommend him. He didn't touch a thing, but he told us where to put things. He had some Tetris style magic that fit everything into a truck. As a bonus, nothing moved in the trip from Toledo to Columbus.

I've used Here to There Movers and had a good experience. They have Angie's list coupons from time to time as well. The others probably do as well.
DeeLite04 replied:
Used Leaders a few years ago and they broke a box of our stuff and didn't play to replace. Husband used 2 guys and a truck and hey we're pretty good. I used thumbtack to find an independent mover and used MVM moving. They were good but slow and I had to call to get them to reduce their rate which their quote was way below what their charges.

Two Drunks and a Kid are a mixed bag. Call one of your friends that had a good experience and hire that crew on the side. I can guarantee you that the crew gave your friend contact info for side work. Same goes for Able Roofing and others that operate on the same business model.

I've never used them myself, but have several friends/coworkers that have used 2 men and a truck and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I used American Moving and Storage for a recent move (after finding them on this sub). Mine was a small and short move, but they were quick and efficient. Think the rate was $90/hr plus $90 travel charge and minimum of 2 hours. http://www.americanmoveandstore.com/

I used Hercules moving co earlier this year and they did a fantastic job. They gave me the most competitive quote and those guys worked their asses off.

I've used Integrity Moving twice, and had a great experience both times. In my second move, they quoted me for two workers, and I ended up getting three workers. They honored the original two-man-job quote, and cut off about an hour of moving time/cost thanks to the extra guy!

I believe I have found a piano for the children, I can't wait to go to their spring recital. Thanks to Carey and family. Now I need respectable movers, any suggestions??
Christina T. replied:
If you want to move it yourself, you can rent a special piano dolly from Murray Tool Rental in Bexley. They are at the corner of E Main and James. It was about $35 to rent I believe. We rented it one weekend last summer to move a heavy old upright from Michigan to here for our daughter. It worked great!
Barbara R. replied:
Davis Piano Moving is the best! They have moved my very heavy baby grand a few times. Top notch people with fair pricing!
