Trade school recommendations. Im contemplating going to a trade school to learn a skill so I can actually make enough money to thrive instead of survive. I really don't...

Props to you for taking that route. I've tried to convince many people to take that route rather then just going to college because that's the norm Electrical is the way I'd go. But if you're after visual satisfaction you may want carpentry.

They’re all available in town. You just need to pick one. Where do you see yourself?

[Eastland Fairfield](http://www.eastlandfairfield.com/ProgramsandCourses.aspx) has a handful of programs if it's close to you.

Go Electrical if you are interested in it. hard to automate, hard to outsource or bring in cheap labor, and with the data center market and electric car market booming, everyone will need you. Side jobs galore. $$$

There was a thread in here a few days ago about the Ohio apprenticeship program. Basically you work for a company that will also pay for you to take night classes and learn the trade you need for the job. Also Columbus state has lots of trade programs, my SO is there for welding right now and loves it.

You could also reach out to the various unions for those areas, most of them have programs as well.

ALL the skilled trades are hurting right now for new blood. Please look into a few different ones to see which fits your needs. Plumbing/Electrical/HVAC all are desperate right now to replace retiring people. Be Punctual, Be Polite and clean and you will be living pretty well.. You may work a lot of retarded hours for a while but the money is definitly there.

IEC and ABC are two different trade schools

Don't know what your skills and interests are, but I struggled to find something that fit me as well when I was younger (don't want to assume your age either, just an anecdote). I ended up in medicine, nursing specifically. I'm going to make another assumption and guess that you are male, but if interested, I wouldn't let that hold you back. Lots of dudes in nursing.
CSCC has a great nursing program (that I currently am attending) and its 4 semesters long for an associates degree and full RN license. Associates prepared nurses generally are very hirable here in cbus, although a bachelors degree would have to be on your long range radar as it will eventually become mandatory. Fortunately, most hospitals here will hire you with the associates and pay for you to get your BSN on your own time. Its not a huge deal.
You can look into nursing further but the pay is decent, hours are pretty awesome (12 hour shifts 3 days a week often time), and there are endless opportunities nationwide once licensed.
I would like to hire someone from Gahanna - but I am finding few. Need a dry stack wall and small paver patio. Any one have a name? You can PM if need be.
Looking for a referral for a landscape/paver patio repair person. No high-end landscape companies. Working on a tight budget with a rehab/flip. If anyone has a referral...
