All the doctors at Advanced Allergy Care are great. I was in your situation a few years ago. The doctors here got us through it. My youngest has been doing desensitization which is also working.

We see Dr. Lee. I like him more than Dr. Shah. Shah wanted us to make some very drastic changes in our house whereas Dr. Lee is much more realistic.

Dr Lee is one we see from ASC Allergy Asthma. I have a SIL who is also one of the RN's there.

I asked about this on another site and this guy said that he used to do the allergy injections, tried different allergy meds and nose sprays but nothing worked for him except for this bottle which he found out about from a stranger who told him about it. I was just at Chamomile's today in Danbury and they said they can't keep it on the shelves, so I have him holding 2 bottles for me. My son did allergy injections before, and they really worked! However we didn't continue after going for 3 to 4 consecutive years and his allergies are bad again. He was good last year and the year before, but this year is just crazy because of the extreme weather change. We used to see Dr Bell. He's a great doctor. I am having my daughter see Dr Shah soon though. Heard good things about her. And yes, everyone says local honey works, so I'll be trying that too with my kids.

I take my daughter to Dr. Dave at Advanced Allergy & Asthma Care in Danbury. However, the most effective thing we've found is to try to limit her exposure as much as possible. She stays indoors for recess and gym, and as soon as she gets home from school I have her shower and wash her hair. We keep the windows shut, and this week we've been running the AC. All of this is a pain, but it does help her and I figure it's only for 4 or 5 weeks each year. Good luck!

I don't know if she's the best, as she's the only rheumatologist I've ever dealt with, but Jenna Thomason at Harborview has done wonders for me. She's taken me from "who knows, maybe it's gout, maybe you have crummy joints?" agony to being pain free and I love her for it. Edit: I want to add that the Harborview system has taken great care of me so far. During a particularly nasty episode they were able to get me in to see **someone** as it would be easier to get an appointment with the specialist. I might be the outlier. I have no idea. But thus far it seems that they're actively working to improve the quality of my life, which is in stark contrast to many of my experiences in the medical world.

Dr. Jeff Petersen at The Arthritis Clinic at Meridian was excellent. He has retired but his office hosts several. You should get a RH factor blood test that will instantly show if you have RA. They provide everything from diagnosis to X-rays, infusions, etc.. I hope this helps you. I have lived with RA for 10 years and am elated to report I am off all toxic meds and in remission!!! Miracles do happen ❤️❤️

I see Dr. Anthony Krajcer at Polyclinic, his bedside manner is a little cold but he does seem like he really cares about getting me the help I need.

I've been under the care of Sue Romanick since 2011. She was the only medical professional who traced my issues back to an autoimmune disorder, rather than blaming it on a car accident that happened three years ago. She's in Bellevue and it can take a while to get in, but I highly recommend her.

You need to go to a research hospital! So the university of WA hospital. I cannot stress this enough when you have a confusing illness. Also, any prednisone or other suppressive medicine your it taking will hinder you getting a diagnosis. Read my open letter to lady gaga post. And message me if you have any questions!

We see Dr Lee at the same practice... He is super nice. We like him a lot. My oldest goes to him for allergy and asthma.

Dr Bell is very nice and capable...Dr Lee is wonderful and very funny. When Alex was little he really liked Dr Lee. We still go to that practice, but switched to a Dr in Ridgefield.

I've never been to Dr. Bell... So it is totally up to you and your thoughts on switching. We really do like Dr. Lee though.

Andrea, if you think the allergies are food related, I would recommend going to Connie Marcy in Brookfield, she is a holistic health practitioner. She is the one who helped me when Jack was a baby (when the doctors couldn't). Good luck!
