Candlewood just hired a new Midwife, Karen is retiring. I would try her if you're already familiar with the practice. I believe her name is Jennifer Ryan.

Women's Health Associates in Danbury is who I use. They are a combined practice of MDs and CNMs, yet operate independently of each other. The midwives are in a separate office building and everything. I've seen both (midwives for general checks and births; MD for minor obgyn surgery) and each office has a completely different vibe. Each good, just different from each other if that makes any sense! Cathy Parisi is who I generally see as a midwife; I also really like Bridget. Good luck!

Oh oops, just read the comments! There's a practice out of St. Francis, as well as Middlesex hospitals.
