We see Dr. McConnaughey. We used to see Dr. Gibson at Children's Healthcare. That place is a joke. Loved Dr. Gibson and our nurse, but the practice was awful. The waiting room was constantly full of 20 sick kids that would run around and touch all over the baby's car seat. There's a small "well child" area. Wait time was usually around an hour. I've waited as long as an hour & 45 minutes in the filthy waiting room. I would call when the kids were sick and was told a nurse would return the call. I'd have to call back several times and still wouldn't get to speak with anyone. I won't name names, but Vada was an extremely fussy baby. I mentioned it at her checkup and instead of looking into the issue, I was told by the doctor to give her Benadryl and she'd calm down. After seeing Dr. M., he diagnosed her with IBS with constipation. Her belly hurt all the time! And I was supposed to give her Benadryl? Ugh. With that being said, my brother & SIL love Dr. Baker. I've heard good things about him!

There is a new doc at Children's Healthcare that my SIL takes her new baby to. They really like him. I take my kids to Katie Burnett Williams there, and LOVE her! My kids love her too. I have never had a problem with that office. They have a well baby room that you can sit in on regular check ups. Everyone has there own opinion, but I really like it. I don't think I've waited any longer than I would in other office. Katie is great and Will seemed to really like Dr. Al Quaci (not sure of the spelling). He reminded them of Dr.M. However, whoever you pick, you can't go wrong with.

Dr. Baker is good. I went to him when Dr. Mc didn't have an opening and he was really nice. Dr Gibson is the man that mistreated me when I was in the hospital and have a lot of other horrific stories about him.

Drew Baker is amazing!! He's fairly new to the area and we love him! He's so good with Mia, and he really cares about his patients.

I take mine to Dr McConnaughey but I heard Dr Baker was great@Paths here in Danville! I don't like Children's Health care. . Personally. I took Owen there for the 1 st few months and just wasnt happy with his care or the staff. Although I did allow them to do Ryders first vaccination and they saw him at DRMC bc he had jaundice but then straight to Paths

Thanks everyone for your input, still having a hard time letting go of the fact that I had planned all these months on Dr. McConnaughey now he's not accepting patients. Thinking I may see about Dr. Baker.

I didn't have a great experience at Children's Healthcare either. However, everyone has different experiences and expectations. I've heard great things about Dr. Baker. You can always switch if you don't like someone!

Dr. Charlotte Williams is who we use...she's at Prime Care...some frown upon it being a doc in the box but I love her, my kids love her, she is very thorough when it comes to finding out what's wrong...she even has called me in Rx's so I wouldn't have to drag all three kids in....

I love Dr. Berreth and Katie Williams at Children's Healthcare Center right across from the hospital!

Henry Ford, he is down beside sterling optical and he is wonderful girl..He hit the nail on the head with Emily's eye's after her doc passed and he knew nothing about her and has been taking care of her since then!! I highly recommend him...

Dr. Alvarez on Memorial Drive at Dominion Eye is the best that I know of

I love love love Katie Williams at Children's Healthcare. She's a Nurse Practitioner and absolutely wonderful with kids!!! There's other NP's and Docs in that office so someone is always there when needed!

Dr. Berreth at that office is sooooo good! I love love love her. And Im picky when it comes to my kids!
