We have Dr. Gard right now and hes great, but hes one of the busiest doctors there and it would be nice to a lady doctor. Dr Gard has been her doctor since she was a preemie and hes one of the few preemie pediatricians in Roanoke, but I think I may hav e to leave physicians to children. I think its just too crowded and overwhelming for Caitlin over there. Mary Jane Witter used to be there and she was the only doctor that she felt comfortable with, but now shes a teacher in a preschool and left ptc. We loved her. So I wonder if a female doctor in a lot less crowded office would be better.

Just to let you know. We have seen Dr Johnson at PTC too. If I had a little girl that's who she would see. I understand your reasons for leaving though.

I LOVE Kool Smiles in Christiansburg. Very worth the drive IMO. Especially helpful for those early teether issues.

Dr Quinn at coots family dentistry is wonderful with kids. Jackson loved him and hasn't been happy with a dentist since. I did learn however, that if your child has any dental issues (root canal) you need to see a pediatric dentist.

PS- we went to John Davis (Pediatric dentist) on Peters Creek for the repair work we had done. He was competent and adequate, but I didn't much care for his bedside manner.

Thumbs DOWN on Kool Smiles. We use Darcy Amacher in cburg. That practice is perfect for my kids and my standards.

Dental Associates in Salem has been wonderful for us.

We also use Kool Smiles in Cburg. Only good times there. And they take Mcad.

Dr Anderson was unbelievably rude to me. I took my son to Dr John Davis & am very happy with him.

Hunting Hills Dentistry is awesome!!! Very child friendly and cater to all needs. I hate the dentist but love them!!

We go to Dental Associated is Salem too.

You would love Dr. Lisa Lavinder. They have two offices. We all just started going to Daleville because my girls love Dr. Lisa!

I love H'burg Peds, but honestly, I think they're all pretty good. Harrisonburg Peds has several doctors, nurse practitioner, behavioral health and educational counseling. Their nurses are very knowledgeable and pleasant, and wait times are kept short. They also spend a good amount of time explaining everything to you.

Bluestone Peds...Dr Rennick is great with all ages!

Dr Rennick at bluestone peds is responsible for my child being afraid of men. Also, bluestone refused to see my child again after I brought her somewhere for a second opinion. Raises red flags for me

Harrisonburg Pediatrics! I also recommend Dr.Blay! He's retired but has turned his home into his offices and he works from home now. He accepts people without insurance for a flat rate of $50 and he also accepts walk ins!

Bluestone Pediatrics! Dr. Phillip Renick is the BEST! He's great with the kid's & you can tell he truely cares about each & every one of them!

Best experiences with Harrisonburg Pediatrics! My son had Dr. Susan and she always took the time to listen to both my husband and I (first time parents) lots of questions. We lost insurance and had to go elsewhere and it was awful. (Harrisonburg community health center). We now pay out of pocket because we know the quality of service is beyond cost.

Bluestone peds...my daughter loves Dr. Renick and we have grown to like Dr. Max-Wright as well!

Dr Hutton was at bluestone and recently started her own practice... She is amazing!! Bluestone would be my second choice. We really like Dr Max Wright.

I had a bad experience with Valley Children's Clinic so wouldn't recommend them

We love BlueStone! They always fit us in last minute for ear infections or colds, etc. I love Dr Max-Wright and met Dr.Gerber (who's new) the other day. Dr.Gerber is extremely nice, and personally called me back to check up on my daughter (and ended up needing to prescribe her more antibiotics). Dr.Gerber previously worked with pediatric cancer patients. We previously used Valley Childrens Clinic and I hated them. Hatedddd them. Nothing was ever personal and my daughter as just another "chart number". Bluestone is completely opposite - they take the time to get to know your child(ren) and family. I will never take my child anywhere else!

We've been going to Bluestone Peds for going on 8 years. We had Dr. Mason until he retired and now are under Dr. Max-Wright's care. We have also seen Dr. Renick on multiple occasions for various reasons. I have been completely satisfied with their care of my 2 boys and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Until my older daughter was in middle school, we saw either Dr. Burt or Dr. Gearing at Harrisonburg Pediatrics. They had been taking care of my daughters since they were born, but I switched both kids to Dr. Schubert at Carilion Family Medicine in Dayton because that's who I see.

Love Bluestone Ped. Dr Renick is phenomenal and my daughter has seen Dr Gerber and loves her. Love the weekend hours and on call doctor

I take my daughter to Valley Childrens Clinic. She sees Dr Imholt. I cant say much about the other drs, bc i dont know. But dr imholt is fantastic with my daughter ad truly cares. She listens to Everything i say intently. And my daughter LOVES her. All smiles when she walks in. Only thing is recently the wait in office has gotten terrible.

Hburg Pediatrics! Everyone is wonderful ! We specifically see Dr. Ashton, but when we have done walk in hours the other Drs weve seen have been wonderful too. Nurses and reception are great too.

I went th o Harrisonburg Comm Health Center. Can't stand them, they are rude and don't listen to what you say (questions or concerns) I go to Harrisonburg Pediatrics now. And love them. My daughter has Virginia premier Medicaid and they accept it!

I used to work with Dr. Cummings, she is wonderful!! I felt like she is a great doctor for girls. If we had a girl instead of our boy, she would have been my first choice!

I use Dr. Nur at Physicians to Children for both of my children. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

Dr Chris Pierce by far is the very best, nicest, caring doctor ever!!!! My kids will not see anyone else and many of my family member's kids have him too. He is Carilion Pediatric Medicine on Postal Drive behind post office in Cave Spring corners area. You would really like him. He takes time with you and your child to find out what is really going on with them.He has even called to check on my kids in the past when they were sick and been to him for a visit. Great doctor! You would not regret choosing him! Mother Teresa would not steer you in the wrong direction with this important subject! LOL

Pediatric Associates on Postal Drive. Briann is officially Dr. Patterson's patient but since they have walk-in sick appointments in the morning and weekends hours, she has been seen by just about all of them. They are all great and wait time is minimal. I interviewed my pediatrician before I went in labor with Emmy. You can probably call and see if you can do that too if you want to.

Dr. Moore at pediatric associates. Its near the BAC. I went there when I was little, harley goes there, my sisters little boy does, she went there and also my little brother still goes there. Hes great. Appointments fast too. A lot of people go there.

Pediatric Associates on Postal Dr has great doctors. We see Dr Amoroso there but I like all of them there. They also have an office in Botetourt but not have had experience with those although I hear all good about them

We go to Carilion Pediatrics near the cave springs Kroger. Behind the post office. They've always been great at returning calls and making appointments for us. Still haven't found a dentist so if you find one you like let me know!

Dr. Henritze on Brambleton is awesome, as is his whole staff. He's been my kids dentist for years and years...

We love Physicians to Children. Doctor Nur is amazing and Georgie looks forward to seeing him. He always looks for Bob the Builder in her chest because he knows she loves Bob. He is also hip to more natural solutions to issues, which I love.

Dr. Cross is an amazing dentist and has 3 lil boys, so his "bedside manner" is amazing. My son Kaiden had to have a tooth pulled and was fine being awake because the doc is so rad!!

Dr. Beazley at Lewis Gale is amazing! I know it's not carillon but he really is amazing and one of the most sought after pediatricians in roanoke!

Pediatric associates is on postal road and in daleville. We see Dr Hugh Craft and love love him. He wears a bow tie which is just a plus.

I absolutely love Christopher Pierce but he is at Carilion Pediatric Medicine on Postal Drive!

My daughter is 26 now but Dr Douglas Althouse was her pediatrician from birth till she was 19. He is a fantastic doctor. He really understood Lauren and she loved him.

We used Dr. Althouse until he retired. We now use Dr Patterson. Carilion Pediatric Associates practice on Electric Rd has been great to Amanda. All the doctors have been kind, helpful and treated her well. She also goes to Dr Koch for endocrinology.
