So sorry to hear about your experience. Is there a particular flavor of yoga that you're partial to? The yoga community here in ATL is quite varied. The Lifetime gyms have a solid program throughout all their locations. They have a variety of teachers and class types. Atlanta Hot Yoga is rather good as well. Best of luck on your journey! Namaste

Hello! I highly recommend Ember located at downtown Woodstock. It's the only studio I've been to, but I love it. The only minor issue I have is parking during the evening hours. They have a hot studio where most of the classes are held, however, they also have a smaller non-heated room for other classes. There's a variety of classes which range from beginner to intermediate level. I mostly do their hot sequence/Bikram sequence. All the teachers are encouraging and very helpful. Here's a link to their website if you're interested! http://www.emberyoga.com/?l=home

I'm a regular at Tough Love Yoga in Inman Park. If its not near you, its still worth a drive down. They do one of the cheaper drop in rates ($10). They focus on alignment based yoga with a lot of cues on how to position yourself to get the best alignment. Check out the Heavy Metal Yoga they offer a few times a week. Check it out and when you're down there, stop by el Myr for an awesome tofu pad thai burrito.

Are you located in Kennesaw? I mostly know about places in town, and I have since moved away from Atlanta, so I'm sure there are new places I don't know about. But I'm a big fan of [Tough Love Yoga](http://www.toughloveyoga.com/) in Candler Park, and [Nirvana Yoga](http://www.nirvanayogaatlanta.com/) in Cabbagetown/Grant Park. [Decatur Hot Yoga](http://decaturhotyoga.com/) is also pretty popular, although I haven't been there in years.

Welcome to Atlanta! I'm sorry you had a bad experience don't worry there's lots of good yoga in atlanta! Most of my recommendations are pretty far from Kennesaw but here it goes: Yoga collective, active sol yoga, sacred thread yoga, onlyoga, and vista yoga. Also consider checking out classpass, I used to be a member and loved it. I found a "home" studio through it.
Friends are visiting and want to do Yoga in the neighborhood early Saturday AM. What's the closest/best place to go not far from the East Lake Marta- Candler Park,...
