There is a Ready to Learn class that is free and you can take your baby with you when your older kid goes. It is 1 hour a week. It is about to end for the summer and start back in August. You can check it out through Project Enlightenment. It is at Jones Dairy Elem. Also, meetup groups are great!

If she likes to dance, we'd love to have her join our dance studio, Nan's School of Dance! We start dance classes at age 2.5. Our new year starts in August. Feel free to give me a call at 919-803-6044. Or check out www.NansDanceNC.com

Tonya, when my son (now 11) was little I went to MOP's (Mothers Of PreschoolerS). It meets at North Wake Church on S. Main St. It met the 1 st & 3 rd Wednesday mornings every month from Oct.-May, I think (traditional school calendar.) They meet from 9:15-11:30. Kids are in age appropriate preschool classrooms. The moms get to eat breakfast, listen to a speaker, break out into small groups & then come back & do an adult craft at the end. I loved MOP's. After we "graduated" (he started kindergarten), I went back to substitute teach & help out for several years.(www.mops.org.) We also went to CBS (Community Bible Study) every Thursday. That meets at Faith Baptist in Youngsville. Between the two of them I met a lot of nice ladies. A lot of which I still know today. MOP's small groups did little socials where we just met at a park or someone's house & hung out & the kids played. My son loved both also. We basically did that instead of him going to preschool.:) PM me if you have any questions.
We are seeking daycare for my nephew that's is 3 (almost potty trained but not quite just yet). Looking to start Aug. 28th. The last time we had daycare was 16 years...
