Soren takes lessons with Julia LiBassi through Swallow Hill Music. We love her! They're a little more pop/ folk/ etc. focused, but he has really enjoyed it. They have both group and private options. http://swallowhillmusic.org/denver-music-school/ Also, my friend Amanda teaches piano, but she's out towards lakewood: http://www.dovemusiclessons.com

As a kid I went to http://www.flesherhinton.com/ for my clarinet lessons. They have lots of teachers and know lots of people. Call and ask the owner to recommend someone, or call the other teachers you've found and ask them to recommend someone. You might just strike gold. Best of luck on your quest.

I learned from a lady named Mrs. Fish. She was probably 90 years old at the time, and I was in about 2 nd grade when I first started. I'm 38 now. Anybody else remember Mrs. Fish? She had lots of cats. She was a wonderful teacher and very kind soul. She hung pictures of all her students on the wall - and the wall was covered. I know a couple of guys at the Colorado Music Institute on about Dry Creek & I-25 or so, but they're guitar teachers. Check them out, they might have a good classical teacher.
