After calling around all day today, we took him for a second opinion at Downtown Animal Care Center. We were lucky the surgeon was in and able to see him. He definitely needs the surgery so it's scheduled for Thursday morning. It will cost $2400 - much better than anything I found (Even Max-Fund Erin Gardner) and the doctor does about 10 of these a week so we feel confident he's in good hands. Thank you all for your love & support - I will keep you informed on his recovery!
