Dr Levinson at the rose medical center is good. I went there and my gf just got hers done there too. He may push towards PRK (basically same deal), which is what I got, but he does LASIK too. It's nice to have a doctor for the follow up, and their entire office is really nice...you're not just a number to them.

I used [20/20 Institute](http://www.2020 institute.com/) and have no complaints. They're the official provider of the Denver Broncos. I don't have experience with anyone else but I can say these guys will make it quick, easy, and comfortable for you. Not the cheapest, but they do offer a lifetime guarentee.

I really loved my experience at [Insight Lasik](http://www.insightlasik.com/). The office is beautiful and the doctors are really knowledgeable. They asked me many times if I had any questions, I didn't have many since I did a lot of research online. I had PRK surgery for really awful vision(-8,-9.25) and a thin cornea. The whole procedure only took like an hour and a half, and I was only in the surgery room for around 15 minutes. My local eye doc had a discount there so that was also a selling point. Before I decided on Insight I also had a consultation at Icon Lasik which I didn't care for. There were a million people in the waiting room and it just didn't seem that clean and professional. The chair I was examined in had a broken arm and there were other little things that bothered me. The doctor I saw also didn't even want to perform PRK on me (I asked about it) and instead suggested a contact implant that cost +2x as much as PRK. I wouldn't recommend that place from my experience there.

Does anyone know how pricing works for lasik? I have a -3.25 in both eyes.

great experience at [Spivack Vision](http://www.spivack.com/html/lasik.html) Plus they have a lifetime warranty so long as you get an annual checkup at any optometrist. Some other thoughts: - You may be activity restricted for several weeks (no skiing, running, etc), schedule accordingly. - If you have any dryness now it will increase greatly, get the punctal plugs and invest in a great humidifier.
Who here has gotten LASIK or eyesight improvement surgery? Thinking now's a good a time as any to bite the bullet. Any recommendations?
Phillip R. replied:
Don't know how they compare on pricing but Dr. Levinson is one of the best. Also a great ophthalmologist. Like everyone else they have a free eval and some great advice (regardless of where you go) at http://www.levinsoneyeclinic.com/eyesurgeon.htm I have to admire any business that asks you to go and check out their competitors before spending any money with them.

I went to Spivack Vision Center in the DTC. I was happy with the experience. Due to differences in cornea thickness between my two eyes, I had Lasik done on one eye and PRK on the other. So if you have questions about that, let me know.

My eye doctor is with Colorado Eye Ceniter and they partner with Spevak Eye Institute down off Arapahoe. I only went down there for the procedure and did all my follow up here in Louisville. They were great!
Kristi C. replied:
Hi Maureen. My husband and I both had great experiences with John Dishler at Dishler Laser Institute. They were organized/awesome from start to finish! I believe he developed several of the laser correction technologies. One our best purchases! Love it and would do it again if I had to but we have both been 20/15 ever since! Good luck:)
Megan L. replied:
Same as Kim. Dr. Kennedy was who coordinated mine about a year ago and was wonderful. I'm 20/15 as well. Worth every single penny!
Courtney A. replied:
Dr. Kennedy knows his stuff. I recommend seeing him.
Marty Sims is wanting to know who has had lasik in the last 2 years and who you might recommend as a doc?
Tom S. replied:
I had my Lasik procedure performed by Dr Paul Cutarelli. Very satisfied and they give you two years of free enhancements. He’s also a very humble person, I saw him set in coach on a flight to Cleveland.
Christy D. replied:
I tried to get LASIK but ended up with PRK. Just in case, I went with Dr Spivak. I had really bad eyesight and I'm thrilled with the results still 3 years later

Lol ya I hear ya, def don't want to mess around with your vision. There are about 6, maybe 7 people in my office who all used Dr. Huser in the last few years. And ya, the bill stated at like almost 3 k and then with all of their coupons, referrals & discounts (they take $250 if you're a Veteran or active military) it came out to around $2000 (per eye).
