Was the place your talking about down that long driveway that was the entrance to the old Swiss Park? Sounds around that spot. And the rock restraunt was Carmen's. When they moved it became Pancho Villas.

Lyle Bell, when I lived there in the 30 s to 50 s, there was a plkace called Thelma's drive in out Foorhill about 1/4 mile from azusa going West. It was owned by a gal named Thelma who was an ex-wife of a guy named Dick who had Dicks Cafe on Foothill right nest to Arnolds Market which was on the south/west corner of Foothill and Azusa Ave.?T
