Anyone have a optometrist they recommend either in West Edmonton or the Southside of Edmonton?

We have always liked the Drs here. Wish their glasses weren't so expensive but they are caring and have fantastic staff. They are great to the boys too Kim. http://www.eyeter.com/about.html

Matt has a friend who is a optometrist. Dr. Aaron Patel at Alberta Eye Clinic. Phone number is 780-428-0111. He is about 107 Ave and 109 St. If you go there, tell him we referred you. He is really great and thorough.
We are looking for a good local Optometrist for our family, thanks!

We just saw Dr Champion at Lendrum Eyecare this weekend and were super impressed with how he interacted with our sons. They have been talking about him ever since. Plus you can make an appt on-line...busy Moms dream.

It's down the Henday in the Hamptons but I've been going to see Dr R.McCormack since the 80 s. I really like him.
Tabitha P. replied:
We are happy with Iris over by the Starbucks for my kids. saw Dr. Pon. I like Iris' 2 replacement warranty for any breakage to the frames (kid's first round with glasses I am expecting at least one break), but truth be told I didn't shop around to see what other places warranties were like so may be very similar elsewhere.
Danna S. replied:
Just found the best service and best prices in town at Southgate Vision Care! Go see Dr. Laansoo. They're awesome and their hours of operation are great too!
Elizabeth B. replied:
There is a place next door to the Rutherford health clinic that has the largest selection of glasses for children in Edmonton. They have an optometrist on-site there as well. My child has visual problems so has to see an opthamologist and so we have not received services other than glasses. The recommendation for Southgate Vision care is an excellent one although I'd recommend getting the prescription filled elsewhere due to the price.
is needing to book eye appointments but have had bad luck lately... Anyone out there have a great optometrist they recommend? Thanks!
Maggie R. replied:

Carolyn D. replied:
Dr. Kim's office at WEM. Ask to see the lady optometrist. I think her name is Alexandra
Lana F. replied:
We see both Dr. Kim's at West Ed. Husband did his dissertation on pediatric vision correction. Alex has seen him from the beginning and has gone from a +7.5 to +1.75. He's also the one who recommended that Alex use contacts for sport, he personally trained me to put them in her eye. Fantastic!! Kye sees Dr. Emma Kim, the wife, she's gentle and easy to talk to.
Lynda L. replied:
