Dr Craig Halihan at Advanced Foot and Ankle Specialists in Elgin. It is a drive, but worth it. I went to my regular DR and my Foot DR because of horrible pain in my foot and Ankle and Dr Halihan is the only one that figured out I had torn a tendon from my ankle to my toes! The other DR just wanted to medicate me and send me on my way

Fox Valley Orthopedics has been awesome to me

Dr. Sostak and his staff at Fox Valley were amazing when my then 5 year old snapped her wrist. 8 weeks in a cast = many many Othro visits and each one was great. She still wants to go back and say hello.

Dr. Shawn Palmer in Elgin. He's awesome. I was going to recommend Dr. Izquerdo of CL Orthopedics but saw that they don't accept your insurance.

Absolutely no question that he should go to Fox Valley Orthopedic Institute near Fargo & Randall in Geneva. Each Orthopedist specializes in different parts of the body. I think their Ortho First in their North Building is open until 8 tonight, or run him over there tomorrow. It's their ER. They do ex rays and MRIs right away. The address is 2535 Soderquist Court, phone 630-584-1400, but you don't need to call before you go over there. Surgery is done on their out patient floor in the South building. Kids are in these buildings constantly for sports injuries. He'll probably need physical therapy or orthopedic therapy. I recommend Bill Strawniak, PT, at ATI in the south building. I've had my share of knee & ankle issues! Finally had both of my knees replaced on July 21st by the top surgeon Dr. Morawski who specializes in knees & hips. He's had patients fly in from Europe to have his method of surgery (no muscles cut). So I've been in these buildings a LOT and have seen & met many patients!! The PTs at ATI are great with the kids too!

Fox Valley. After 3 other places didn't see my spinal fracture, using the first set of X-rays from dr #1, Dr. Reiger found the fracture and got me fixed up.

Dr Ketterling is awesome from Fox Valley Orthopedics! He is the team physician for the Cougars and St Charles High School football. The doctors also offer OrthoFirst which is same day care for same day ortho injuries! WAAAAAY cheaper than the ER and you get to se an ortho specialist instead of a general ER doctor. Just had knee surgery from Dr Shadid at Genesis Orthopedic & Sports in St Charles. He and his staff are great & very caring. His PA came to my home to remove my stitches to accommodate my schedule.

I agree with Johnny. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Some of their docs go to CDH. They also have offices in Westchester and the city. If you don't need surgery FVO is fine but I wouldn't go to them if I needed surgery.

I tried fox valley orthopedics, but the Illinois bone and joint institute is the best in the state. Dr Ari Kaz was my surgeon and he is great!

As an ortho nurse who works with many of these doctors...I personally would recommend Dr mox or kazaglis with associates in ortho or Dr Palmer (if a replacement is needed)

Fox Valley Ortho has a walk-in "immediate care" type clinic for ortho injuries. See if they are open today.

I don’t know any open on Sundays. But I absolutely 100% recommend Barrington Orthopedics. There are two offices fairly close, one in Hoffman and one in Bartlett and they’re both wonderful!

Not sure what Harmony insurance is, but we have TriCare through the military, and Fox Valley would not accept it. They told me I would have to pay cash, and then file it with insurance myself. So thinking they do not accept payments either. You could always call and ask... We ended up going to Suburban Orthopaedics on Randall Rd. They took our insurance.
