Witchmeadow Lake Campground in Salem, Ct. is about a 45 minute ride from Enfield. Very kid friendly. They welcome trailers and tents. Monday-Saturday activities run from 9 am-4 pm. Friday night there is an outdoor movie and family bingo in the rec hall. Saturday night there is a live band or a disc jockey. This weekend is themed "Christmas In July". The East Windsor Family Resource Center has at camp on Abbe Road at Scout Hall. From 9-3 it is $140 or 7-6 $180 I know they accept Care for Kids if you qualify to help with the cost. This includes two field trips a week!
