Dr. Matt Cobb in Candia (?) Is very good. Family has been using him for years for horses, dogs, etc. Seems to be pretty honest and not trying to just increase your bill. Good luck! Edit for link: http://www.candiaraymondveterinarian.com

I use Fremont Animal Hospital, my cat just had a pretty bad infection (from being bit by something). They got him in really quick, gave him rabies and antibiotics shots, as well as a dewormer and cleaned the wound it was only 140.
Has anyone ever brought their dog to the 24 hour Brentwood emergency vet on route 125? If so, do you recommend it?
Holley L. replied:
We go to Portsmouth and would HIGHLY recommend over Brentwood Emergency!! http://www.veccnh.com

Very pricey but you are paying for them to provide a service that no one does (24 hours). For emergency service it's great. For a regular get I'd suggest Dr. Smiley in Auburn.
Vet Emergency and Surgery in Brentwood has been a great alternative vet when we needed them.

Cornerstone in Epping. Near the DMV. We have been going there for 15 years. A procedure we had done there for $80, I know someone that paid $400 for the same darn service elsewhere. Cornerstone is very reasonably priced, and very compassionate with our loved ones. All the Drs there are wonderful. Kudos to Dr Fallon, and all the staff there really!
