Hampstead Animal Hospital. Dr. Norris is worth the drive!

I called around to get my little Yorkie fixed, and Riverside was about $100 cheaper. Also, my sons dog had a previous infection in his ear that was being treated before and after being adopted from the MSPCA. He was obviously up to date on everything from just being adopted. For some reason when he took him to Have a Heart just for his ear because it did not clear up from the meds the MSPCA sent him with. They charged my son over $300. I don't know why, he was just adopted and up to date on everything, he just needed something for his ear. After that he still had the infection because the previous owners never treated it. We took him to Riverside Vet, they charged $85. It was $60 for the vet cost, and $25 for the medication that was like the consistency of honey to make sure it went deep into his ear. The Vet cleaned both of his ears out, the infected one really good. He told us to come back in two weeks, he did the same process for a $25 follow up visit that included cleaning the ear deep inside again, and making sure the medicine went deep down in his ear buy rubbing beside it. And he was a really nice guy.

Bulger is wicked expensive but good. I have been going to Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital on Jackson Street on the Methuen Lawrence line for years. No complaints. Not the newest digs in town but if that's why the prices are reasonable but the care us good that is fine with me.

Amesbury Animal Hospital on Elm street in Amesbury ivery good & reasonably priced. They're not that far from Haverhill. Open late@night, open Saturday, on call on Sunday. Been going there for almost 17 yeats. They took great care of my 2 yorkies. Id bring both in@the same time, only be charged for 1 office visit, unlike mosy places would charge for 2 vists because of 2 dogs.
I second dr Johnson in Lawrence. Riverside treated my pup for two years unsuccessfully. They stopped at the obvious problem instead of the underlying one. Poor guys skin condition had him miserable for two years and completely hairless. Dr Johnson had him good within months .

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any local Veteran's day freebies for vet's? I know about the big big chain stuff like Applebee's, Chili's, etc... I'm wondering...

Every Thursday (except today) at The Bradford Place Cafe, Breakfast is $5 and coffee is free for vets. It’s a great way to spend the morning chatting with other vets.
