Check out Flower Mound Early Care and Education behind the Dairy Queen on 407. I am one of the owners and my business partner, Tym has been in the business over 27 years and has trained for most of the owners, directors and staff at the above listed schools as well as all over the state as a licensed trainer. Our 3 yr old rate is $166 and includes breakfast, lunch and snack. About 6 months ago we did away with canned fruits and vegetables and now serve much more fresh and non processed foods which is just one of our great selling points. Come check us out and we can get you all the details about our center.

Sonshine Kids is awesome but mostly during the school year. They do usually do one or two camps over the summer but I haven't seen them announced yet. A lot of churches do VBS which is usually cheap and/or free. Some have preschool programs but a lot are more mommy-and-me type programs at 3, I think.

A great day trip is to Fossil Rim drive through zoo in Rose Glen, Tx. It is about a two hour drive. The town of Rose Glen has a small downtown area. The zoo is very cool. You go in and pay and get a cup of animal chow. Then you wind your way to the top of the park tossing food to the animals. At the top there is a snack bar gift shop and petting zoo. Take your camera the animals will stick their heads in your car window. If it is warm stop by Dinosaur national Park to see the dinosaur tracks in the river and take a swim. You can do all of this as a day trip or stay overnight. Fossilrim.com
Wendy B. replied:
We did Glen Rose last yr for Spring Break. My kids 4,5 & 13 loved it. We went early to get there as soon as it opened & got done driving thru the safari@noon & then went to Dinosaur Valley & had a picnic lunch there & played in the water. It was a very memorable trip! We also do LegoLand & a day camp for the littles, one for soccer, one at Yogi Kids.

Locally, Dallas Zoo, Fort worth Zoo, Perot Science Museum, Childrens Science museum in fort worth. Dallas World Aquarium is very cool. There is always roller skating, ice skating, and bowling. The Dallas Arboritum is a nice family outing as well. There is also an aquarium and lego land at Grapevine Miles Mall.
