my doctor told me to use something with lanolin in it. I use "Corona Multi-Purpose Ointment" on mine it works good. The best place to get it is amazon or at a feed store as it is for livestock. it works for people too. the only other thing I could find with lanolin in it was nipple cream and for some reason I didn't want to use that on my leg
