My son had to have strep twice before our pediatrician would recommend his tonsils to be removed and they referred us to Dr. Hood.

Thanks everyone. I was able to get him an appointment tomorrow with Dr. Hood in Fayetteville. He has always had enlarged tonsils but lately his allergies have been acting up so they are even larger than normal. He actually experienced some sleep apnea this morning for 7-8 seconds so of course that scared me to death & I'm a LPN.

Within a day or two, my daughter was feeling lots better, but still had to try to keep her calm and playing quiet, indoor games for a few more days. Dozier Hood is an awesome ENT!

Dr. Hood in Fayetteville is absolutely amazing. My daughter has had strep 8 times in 9 months. Her old pediatrician would not refer her. I called Dr. Hood myself, THEY done all her referral paperwork, seen her the same day, & she has a scheduled surgery friday for tonsilectomy. They have definitely gone above & beyond for her!

Dr. Hood scheduled an MRI for me to see what was going on and found out I have MS. IF it wasn't for him, I never would have known. Nobody would do an MRI except him. And it was the first thing he did!

I just took my son yesterday to Dr Hood in Fayetteville as a new patient. They are extremely fast in getting you in and out. We were called back to see Dr Hood before I could even get my son's last name on the first sheet of paperwork. Everyone in the office along with Dr Hood was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend him.

I have been to a few ENT doctors in the past and I went to Dr. Nechtman, ENT in Griffin today and I was very impressed. He is very thorough and I would highly recommend him, it did take about 2 weeks to get an appointment. FYI his number is 770-227-0406.

Not in Griffin but Dr. Avidano. He had an office in Fayetteville and Stockbridge. He did my daughters 3 tubes, took her adnoids out, then took her tonsils. He took my tonsils out Nov 1,2013. Great Dr and I recommend visiting at the Stockbridge office. Southern Crescent ENT.

Michael Avidano's office in Stockbridge, Southern Crescent ENT is by far the best around. (Also their office has an office inside the hospital in Fayetteville) I turned down the ENT Center in Macon specifically for him 5 years ago. He did 3 out of 4 tube procedures my daughter had, he took out her adnoids, he then took out her tonsils. He took my tonsils out Nov,1 st 2013 and next month on the 13 th he is placing tubes in my 10 month olds ears. The staff is caring, respectful, very good at remembering you on a personal level etc.

Mandy there is a new ENT in Griffin. It is Spalding ENT. The office is beside Dollar General on Zebulon Road close to the Moose Club. You know my opinion of doctors and I really liked this doctor and his staff
