NOT DR Haque. My husband had a BAD BAD BAD experience with him. Could not level him out and he ended up in real trouble. He does not listen and is abusive to his staff.

Dr. Audrey Miklius. She's in Dallas but worth every mile. She diagnosed my Graves disease and truly saved my life. She's compassionate and highly respected amongst her peers. She's been a Dallas Top Docs for a number of years. Thyroid issues are solvable but take time. The group is Endocrine Associates of Dallas. 214-363-5535 The group itself are all excellent, but I've had an ongoing relationship with her for 12 years.

Dr. Haque here in Flower Mound, Kirkpatrick Rd (214) 513-2300. He diagnosed my friends disease after years of trouble.

My teenage son was diagnosed with Hashimoto's. After going to an endocrinologist, we decided to try a more "natural" route. Dr. Christina O'brien at Complete Health Wellness. She had Hashimoto's herself and understands and listens. We are really impressed with her. It's been a long journey, but we would rather not have our son on drugs for the rest of his life.

I have had hashi for 17 years myself and had to have my thyroid removed 3 months ago. Best thing I can recommend is research, research, research; be your own advocate. Dr Mikilus actually diagnosed me but was really hard to get in to see her and they weren't open to much besides synthroid and blood tests. I really liked her but that is a big drive and difficult for me to plan.

Dr. Garner at Denton Regional. She diagnosed me and my thyroid was removed. She was great. On armor thyroid. Thyroid cancer ran in my family so it was best to be removed.

Dr. Tondapu at MCNT. She is based out of Irving, however, she offices in the FM location on 2499 every Monday. 972-556-1616

I agree with Tracy Haynie Jones. My daughter had thyroid cancer and Dr. Garner was great. Dr. Haque not so much.

Carolyn Garner is a surgeon. She would not monitor someone with Hashimoto's. Probst in an endocrinologist in Grapevine.

Dr. Garner is an endocrine surgeon and she diagnosed my hashimoto's. My FM GP referred me to her.

I fourth Dr. Miklius! I'm a type 1 diabetic and also have hashimotos. She is my life saver. Literally. She caught my appendicitis by smelling my breath (knowing I had ketones) she truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Lori Watumull is the best thyroid imaging specialist / radiologist. I have follow-up Thy-Ca screenings yearly with her. She is at UT Southwestern 214-645-5081

No, haven't heard of Dr. Zigman just Dr. Watumull. Dr. Thomas Bramhall (ENT / Surgeon) and Dr. Haque (Endocrinologist) both recommended her to me.
