Anyone on here know of an exotic's vet in the area that doesn't charge an arm and a leg?

we used to go to Derry NH for exotic pet needs: http://handelwithcarevet.com/
Suzanne K. replied:
I think it's Dr. Binder at Saugus who has helped us in the past
Suzanne K. replied:
good luck... if I think of anyone else I'll let you know. Oh, try Littleton Animal Hospital - they work with exotics, but don't know their pricing...
Roxanne H. replied:
I've called Waters Edge, Rivers Edge, Danvers Animal Hospital, Putnam Vet in Topsfield, Riverwood VH in Andover, Andover animal hospital, ect. I figured asking here I may get leads I haven't thought of yet.
Roxanne H. replied:
They told me to call Angel Memorial who would charge 300+ per animal (I have 3) and that's only after they're seen for an exame at 105 a piece.
Suzanne K. replied:
what kind of animals and what is the problem? Saugus Animal Hospital has helped us out with exotics in the past
Barbara M. replied:
there's a place called Zoo Creatures in Plaistow that might be able to give you this info. They have a FB page.

Angell Memorial?

My son has brought his reptiles to a place right up rte. 125 in Kingston, beyond zoo creatures https://www.facebook.com/pkamc

I use Plaistow Kingston Animal Hospital on Rt 125 near landscapers depot. They do birds and some exotics, not sure about rats. When we had rats as pets we used a vet on Route 1 in Salisbury. Had surgery done on one for a cancerous growth. But I think the name has changed and I don't know if they still do exotics. Merrimack Valley Feline Rescue used to be in the same building, they have since moved to their own place. Good Luck, rats make great pets.
I have a new rescue Shih Tzu. Mspca said a year old, my vet thinks closer to 2. Anyway she is very timid because of the circumstances she came from. I have held her...

A Refreshing Paws in Merrimac has groomed my Pomeranian (who screams if you even show her a brush!). They are excellent. I recommend grinding rather than cutting the nails....less traumatic. Congrats on the Rescue!
Ken L. replied:
In case u didn't get this from Courtney Lake. Paula from Paulas Paws in Merrimac is very very good! She is super nice and is so good with all of the dogs! Maybe she could be of assistance! Hope this helps!

Kathy's Dog Grooming in Salisbury sounds like the perfect fit!

Tracy Ingoldsby at Paws... She's an outstanding dog trainer and does nails x 2 a month on Saturdays at Paws. She would be able to help you learn what'll work best for your dog and how to calm her so she doesn't wiggle. And may be able to suggest a groomer will a solid skill set to get a clip
