Try Lafayette Snow Angels: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1488055144622704/about/ This group is a network of neighbors in Lafayette, CO who come together to help clear the sidewalks of snow for those in need. If you know of somebody who needs help clearing their walkway, their path to the doctor or grocery store, etc., or if you have a snow shovel and want to help your fellow neighbor, this is the place to find and give help. I was inspired to create this group last winter when one of our neighbors posted a photo of a person pushing their wheelchair through the snow in order to get to the post office. Together we can make a difference. *Lafayette Snow Angels, it’s members, and administrators work for free out of the kindness of their heart. We are not responsible for damage or injuries that may be caused during an act of kindness and encourage each person to use their own judgement when deciding whether to give or receive help. It is recommended that people work with a partner if they will be shoveling snow in the evening or early morning hours when it is dark.
