Dr. Kathryn Levy at Lake Lewisville Pediatrics is amazing! She takes the time to actually listen and really cares for her patients. My boys have been going to her for 13 years...after their former pediatrician told me my son was being a brat because he was screaming saying his back hurt. Dr. Levy did the proper tests on him and he had an obstruction in his kidney. I am so glad I didn’t listen to that other doctor. My boys have had several serious issues and she was right about all of them. When my son was having his kidney issues she gave me her personal cell phone number so I could call her with any issues. She has also called many times to check and see how they were. That lady will always have a special place in our family.

Nurse practitioner Denise Tierney at Pediplace. She is a former NICU nurse, very informative, she doesn't push a lot of unnecessary medication or procedures, she is always very thorough when examining my 11 week old son. They have a sick and healthy entrance and keep all the sick vs healthy families separate, patient portal, multiple reminder texts and emails for appointments and the sweetest little goody bags. Medicaid is accepted.

Anyone at Kids First Pediatrics! I bring my daughter to Dr. Conger but all the docs there are wonderful. Staff is super friendly and their new building is pretty snazzy.

Stay away from PediPlace (dirty and always busy) and PM pediatrics (i reported Dr Ochei to the state). Honestly you can see the reviews for PM pediatrics and they speak for themselves. Good luck!!

Seconded on 18 & Under MD... Dr. Naylor did our newborn hospital visits, and has been there for us ever since. The location has both a "healthy" and a "sick" entrance, so your littles coming for a check up aren't as open to exposure. The location is always pristine and clearly well cared for. Personally I love Dr. Naylor's very cheerful, but no-nonsense personality- she's quick, efficient, super thorough and my kids love her. That said, we haven't had a visit less than fantastic with any of the others there (but we do also have a soft spot for Dr. Pape, she's so lovely and kind,) and all of the nurses and front staff are amazing. Because it's a larger practice, we've never had issues getting in when we needed, and we're rarely much longer than 45 minutes for a full visit- not something I can say about many other practices. Genuinely can't say enough positive things about them!:)

Dr. Kathryn Levy at Lake Lewisville Pediatrics is the best! I was frantically searching for a pediatrician when my son was three and waking up screaming that his back was hurting. The pediatrician we were seeing at the time told us he was “being a brat and wanted attention”. Dr. Levy did the proper tests and he had to have emergency surgery to fix an obstruction in his kidney. This was 13 years ago. She gave me her personal cell phone number and called to check on us. The 13 years she has been my boys doctor we have had several serious situations where she always gave us her attention and care. I have referred many families to her and they all love her.
