For great information I would join the Hypothyroid Mom FB group. I see an Endo who plays the numbers game. So frustrated. I have HYpoParathyroidism. I have to research everything. I ordered a text book that we'll be released next month. We have to be our advocate. There is a doctor downtown Dallas. I don't want to drive down there but he's suppose to be really good.

Hypothyroid Ladies is also another by good FB group.

Dr. Olivier is great.. I had gone through many doctors, all of them endocrinologists and they just couldn't find the right treatment for my hypothyroidism. I've used Zocdoc before. You can see when the next available appt is. Can't search specifically for an internist but if you search for a PCP it shows the credentials (easier to see from computer than smartphone). If you call Zocdoc they're helpful and will also followup with you to make sure everything was alright with the visit. http://www.zocdoc.com

If people would try search first most wouldn't need to add another asking whats been asked already. It seems the majority of posts lately are the same thing. Stacy McLain is right, people stop commenting after doing it over and over. I've started posting a search result sometimes so the person can see that you can search and find recent comments and previous posts where a lot of recommendations have been made, buried and lost and many never repeated again.

There was a long thread about 2 weeks back with lots of recommendations. Maybe it was a different Flower Mound page I'm on? Dr. Romy Kaur on FM 407

I use Dr Elizabeth Pearch. Her office is in 2499 north if 1171 but south if 407. I have used her for years. Really like her.

I called Dr. Myint's office. She is not accepting new patient's until mid-May for now. I'm looking for a new Dr. as well.
