Not sure about health plan, but we have really had a great experience with Dr. Richards-Rowley, with Kids First Pediatrics. Never a long wait, always time to answer any questions you may have, very compassionate. Diagnosed our son instantly when others had misdiagnosed...can't say enough good about her.

Premier care pediatrics for sure. We love them. Have seen both Dr. Minick( our children's pedi and Dr. Pruitt. They are awesome

We have been with Nadal Pediatrics for the better part of 12 years. I have tried some of the other practices listed above due to insurance, but returned to Dr. Nadal. He has an office on Bloomingdale.

If you're willing to try a family physician I highly recommend Dr. Lindsay Wiles. She is so good with teens. My boys even really like her! She practices at Riverview Family Medical. Good luck with your search.

Beth Jasko is also amazing she is with Dr. Lindsay Wiles in Riverview.

Dr. Pruitt from Premier Care is awesome! We have never waited for a well visit for more than 10 minutes.

Dr. Rebecca Pruitt is great with adolescents. (813) 657-7337. She she is located behind Fishhawk Uhaul. I've always gotten fast and emergency appointments with little wait times.

Premier Care Pediatrics are the best! Low wait times and I can get in the same day for sick visits! Dr Pruitt and Dr Minick. Best staff ever!

My girls see Dr. Pruitt at Premier Care Pediatrics. She is excellent, thorough, kind, and there has never been a wait longer than abt 5 minutes in the 7 years we've been living in Florida and taking our kids there.

I love Dr. Judah 662-0123. Their office is just north of Bloomingdale on Lithia. Wait time is usually good. She takes lots of time when she is with you. I never feel rushed. And she takes the time to explain everything in layman's terms.

I go to Dr. Rivera in Fishhawk. I was getting them 2-3 times a week. She prescribed a preventative for me that didn't make me crazy (my last dr. prescribed something that made me feel insane!). I have had 3 migraines since February...I feel great! We did the whole MRI thing to rule out anything funny. I was contemplating going to a neurologist, but she nipped those migraines in the bud!

Okay, I should share with all! I have suffered chronic migraines most of my teen and adult years. Until about a year and a half ago, I suffered from at least 3 but up to 5 migraines per week and headaches in between. I hated the migraine meds because they made me feel really numb and off. Julie Ashlock, owner of MBJ Health and Fitness told me about her CRT certification and how CRT works to help migraines (Cranial Release Technique). I tried it and it totally cured me! It takes about 5 minutes and I cannot say enough about the tremendous difference it has made. I have had 2 headaches (maybe 1 of those qualified as a migraine) in 1.5 years! I have been a migraine suffer for 25+ years, as has my mother. I highly recommend neurologist Dr. Maria Carmen Wilson with USF and Tampa General. She manages a nationally renown Migraine Pain Clinic at Tampa General. The program has been a life-saver.

I suffer from migraines as well. Julie Ashlock has been helping me via CRT. It is so wonderful. Much better alternative to drugs!! I highly recommend her!

I liked Dr. Sehres but it is ridiculous to get an appt with him and wait times are awful and they aren't close. Noorani hands-down!

Dr. Rivera is in Park Square. Convenient hours too. I moved down here 3 years ago and saw several doctors regarding my migraines, as well as multiple doctors when I lived up north. She is the only doctor who was able to prescribe something to control them without crazy side effects. I will be loyal to her forever! She's also super nice and has an awesome sense of humor. Love her!

I've been a patient of Watson Clinic in Lakeland for years. I know it's in Lakeland and that's a bit of a hike, but consider that they have EVERYTHING under one roof. If you need any kind of lab work, xrays, MRIs, CT SCANs, whatever... It's all in-house. They also have every kind of specialty doctor you can think of. All your doctors have access to all the other doctor's notes, prescriptions, info, etc.... Highly recommended. Oh, and they have their own urgent-care too.

Regarding Jukie Umberger, she is also my mothers primary. My mom was hospitalized and seeing specialists, she was not actively involved with her care but anytime I called she took my call, stayed on top of what was going on with my mom and took the time to speak with me. This was not time she could bill for but she was all was there for us. That was priceless!
