We see Dr. Lilly at Fishhawk Family Eyecare (next door to the peds office on the corner of Fishhawk & Lithia-Pinecrest). We've been happy with her. My daughter went for the first time last year when she was 5 or 6.

My whole family goes to Eyeglass World in Brandon. Good docs, huge selection, and their open on Sundays. Turn around for glasses is same day too

If you are looking for a true doctor, we love Ronni Chen, MD. She is a pediatric ophthalmologist - great with kids, takes her time, explains things great.
