One note we had a rescue dog that got aggressive and anxious at night. I first I thought it was anxiety so we let him start sleeping in the room with us but the answer turned out to be a couple of nightlights. It turned out one of his eyes was going. Once he had been with is a bit he settled.

We had a great experience with Tenderfoot Training -- my dog started to show increasing signs of aggression in the last year and bit our au pair. Elizabeth and Doug are very knowledgeable and after doing their drills regularly the change in our dog has been incredible -- he's \*so\* much calmer, happier, and less reactive. I thought their prices ($180 / 2 hours) were quite reasonable too, for private training... I was quoted $150-$200 / hour by a few other trainers I contacted. Good luck! I believe my friend mary angilly specializes in this kind of work. Every time I talk to her she says she's slammed with work but she might have some openings if you're willing to wait I'm sure. https://www.maryangilly.com/

Thanks for this post! Mine is the same way and also LOSES his mind when other dogs pass. I’d love him to be socialized but I’m worried he’s going to fight.
