We go to Dr. Eitches at Cedars. Long schlep there, but worth it. They're excellent with adults and kids (even have DVD players for the kids). Always timely getting prescriptions renewed, etc.

Danica Schultz right next to blvd Ped. She's fantastic but alone in her office. I always call If there's an emergency and she calls me back but she doesn't have back up. I would interview her
Losing my noodles (may have happened awhile ago!) Need a FABULOUS allergist recommendation (preferably CHOP or St. Chris affiliated) to help us figure out food...
Jen N. replied:
Dr. Pawlowski CHOP - KOP He is awesome. Call today! He has a full schedule since he is in high demand. He is an allergy kid himself! Understands allergies. Thorough. Patient. He really helped us!

Dr. Knapp in Newtown.

Dr. Cianferoni at Chop is phenomenal. Highly recommend her. After a ton of testing, found out my son doesn't have allergies, but an autoimmune issue. But she spends a ton of time with us at each visit, and calls to follow up.
Maia S. replied:
I second Dr Terri Whitehorn Brown!!

#215-590-2549. She's awesome! She's treated both of my children since they were infants. When we moved to Seattle, she referred us to a Dr who was trained at CHOP and brought him up to speed on my children's conditions. She spends a significant amount of time with us, emailed us when she can't call and even called me on a Sunday to review results. My children have a number of food allergies, eczema, and asthma. I just cannot say enough nice things about Dr Brown
Kristie E. replied:
An allergist that effectively deals with food allergies is so hard to find! If you end up having trouble finding one you like, you could try searching on the Institute of Functional Medicine website for an integrative physician or allergist. https://www.functionalmedicine.org/practitioner_search...

Dr Anolik LOVE LOVE LOVE both CHOP AND ST CHRIS affiliate and many different office locations

Can anyone in the L.A. area recommend a good allergist? Nearly had to make a trip to the E.R. last night.
Natalie K. replied:
What would you say if I knew a way to help with that? Look up telomeres. When we loose telomeres, we age and then bad things happen. There is a way to reverse these reactions you are having. go to: www.drscience.info

Not sure where you live but D. Richard Dhanes in Westlake is amazing. He's also an internist so has a wonderful background.

I personally went to this West LA location: http://www.allergyasthmacarecenterinc.com/locations/ They offer the food allergy skin prick test, on your back. Very professional, easy to get in, they have parking on site though of course you have to pay for it. They do require an assessment appointment, to go over info with you and get your medical history before the appointment for the actual test. My insurance covered most everything. I saw Dr. Lee Sheinkopf.
