Dr. Dafna Trites out of Tarzana is the best..not sure if she delivers at West Hills but I'd definitely call her and find out. I've seen many ob/gyn over the years due to changing insurance and I actually find insurance based on what her office accepts...she is patient, thorough and kind and makes you feel very comfortable.

Terra C. replied:
I like Katz' office. She has a dry sense of humor and will 100% go to bat for you with other doctors...BUT if you are looking for ultra fuzzy, kissy huggy--that office is not for you! The WH Hospital nurses will tell you she is a FANTASTIC doctor, but likes things a certain way and for people to do their job. She has a great connection with Cord Blood Registry and has toured the facility, but gave us info on ViaCord (?) as well. We did our homework and went with CBR and she had a great collection at delivery.
Andi L. replied:
Dr Joie Russo in Tarzana
Celia C. replied:
I see Dr. Naghmeh Khodai with Women’s Health Specialists West Hills and LOVE her. My husband and I were pregnant last year and sadly miscarried and Dr. Khodai was incredible through the whole thing. So kind, understanding and patient. The office has a tendency to run late on appointments but that’s because they take time with their patients. They don’t rush you and spend as much time with you as you need them too. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!
Sara D. replied:
Dr Katz was great. I went into pre-term labor at 27 weeks and my insurance was being difficult with certain things but that didn't stop her from making sure I was taken care of properly. She also listened to me and didn't just brush me off. I highly recommend her.

I'm not sure what you consider good bedside manner, but I do know Linda Katz is human, honest and with not give you any BS or a superior attitude. I will tell you most doctors don't sit with you during labor....they just haven't got the time. There will be L & D nurses for you and your labor coach will be there to help you. Good luck!
Kami M. replied:
Dr. John Collier at West Hills is awesome- had both of my boys with him, my aunt had her son with him 18 years ago and I have a few friends who had him too. He is awesome and my labor and delivery were easy and He took good care of me during delivery and postpartum. Highly recommend.

Antoinette H. replied:
Awesome Asif! Please call me when you get off work. 310-936-7243.
Antoinette H. replied:
www.healthnet.com has hundreds if not thousands of docs, providers, medical groups etc. I don't even know where to begin lol!
Now that you reminded me Viesta, Health Net got an app lol!
Cynthia P. replied:
Congratulations Antoinette!! I know the feeling.. I'm jn treatment now after not having insurance for 4 years with a blood disorder .. I'm a certified Covered Calif ins agent if there's anything I can do to help or answer questions just in-box me.. Health Net is a good health plan.. The dr's you select though see very specific to the plan you signed up with.. I'll message you some info..
JuJu G. replied:
With Health Net---know for sure who is contracted. Pharmacy, doctors, hospitals, Urgent Care, etc. Sure they will see you or take care of you, but it may not be covered under your plan.
JuJu G. replied:
The hard thing to know is which Medical Group to put yourself with. And who their doctor base is. I always found knowing which doctor (who is covered by your plan) is covered by which Medical Group and which Specialist he refers to.
JuJu G. replied:
Oooh...check on traveling. If unable to see your Medical Doctor while away from home, ask for exact information how to be covered by Health Net.
JuJu G. replied:
First learn the differences between HMO and PPO. Learn what your plan has to offer YOU on your plan of choice. KNOW what your deductions and copays are in ADVANCE of needing services. Health Net has customer service people who will explain to you things you need to know about YOUR plan or options. After learning what is available to you and what to expect for expenses (in advance of needing any service) then pick a doctor under your plan and ESTABLISH by making an appointment and become a patient. If you wait until you have an urgency or need and you are not established, it can be a huge problem for you since no doctor knows you and has accepted you as a patient. And your copay at Emergency in this situation will not be something you would want if you can avoid. Learn from your PLAN what you need to do in advance of needing the service. If you need referrals first or if you are using a CONTRACTED doctor o facility. Forever now you will need to know who is CONTRACTED with your plan and Health Net. Once you decide from the options of a Medical doctor and you become ESTABLISHED with that doctor, then do research on Specialists who you might need at some point and make sure they are Contracted. IF you go with HMO and you have a Medical Group---they have people who answer phones and answer questions. And THEY are who make decisions on if you get the service your doctor is referring you to. Such as MRI, Cat Scan, some BLOOD WORK, etc. that needs approval.
Shaman D. replied:
