Who knows of a new bike shop in Hollywood? Someone mentioned it this weekend and I can't remember!!!!
Sean E. replied:
Yes - support Tender Loving Cycles. She's just off Western and SM Blvd. And she could maybe be convinced to do a housecall. wink emoticon Deborah Xu is her name.

I have used I Martin for years but am hoping to spend less that 500 bucks on a fit and tune up! Spoke to Deb at Tender Loving. Taking them in tmrw!
Sean E. replied:
she's awesome for bike tech/maintenance/repairs. Growing selection of bikes. my other favorite shop (other than Helen's Westwood (ask for Matt Canale ) or Helen's Santa Monica (ask for Francie Hartman ) and iMartin is Bicycle John's in the Valley on Holl ywood Way. Just Ride LA (ask for Dan) is a great shop downtown, lots of Bianchi. Bike-purchase wise, in the less than 2K zone, I really like the Cannondale EVO and CAD10.@TMI?
Sean E. replied:
biketiresdirect.com for tires (i like vredenstein these days; quite durable and easy to change). for sure go to Deborah Xu for fit and tune.
Sean E. replied:
Randy Matthews, that's my friend Debs shop.
Randy M. replied:
I can tell you to stay away from this place. Its nearest to our house, but the owner is extremely rude, and the place is overpriced. http://www.yelp.com/biz/spokes-n-stuff-los-angeles

Here is a bike that I just built. You can contact Jay's Motorized bikes at jaygarren1@yahoo.com or call/text me at 607-595-9759. I am the owner and I could build you a bike reasonably price and for a reasonable price I could have it shipped to you as well.
