Hi Nanet, I believe diet can do wonders for children ADHD. I am a certified health coach who has experience with children and would love to sit down with you to discuss his case. I understand how difficult this situation is for you and your family and I feel very strongly that you are doing absolutely the right thing by first trying alternative therapies rather than just going straight for the drug. Hi Nanet! Therapy will help your son, don't worry about the side effects unless your son has specific drug allergies, in which case you may take extra precautions before administering any medicine. Is it the first time that ur son has been prescribed medication?occupational therapy will help, you can contact Miss Bouyana, she does it at Al Maali Centre located at new Zinj, take care.

Watch out for something like that in the foods u give, stop all ready made food and bottled juices, chips etc. Preservatives in them are loaded with chemicals and are harmful. Observe what u give her daily, u will be able to find out wat causes it. That's how we pinpointed on iodised salt. Take care.

Also there's a pediatrician and specialized in asthma his name is Ossama AbdElkareem behind Nasser pharmacy zinj branch. I always nebulise with normal saline 3 times a day (first thing in the morning, around lunch time and JUST before bed) it loosens AMH mucous and helps relieve the night coughing. If it’s been continuous, it’s probably an allergy. This time of year is dusty. Is she taking an antihistamine? If you want a second opinion Dr ALI Ebrahim is a pediatric chest and asthma doctor. 17272792

My son gets a phlegmatic cough and he vomits bringing up his food. It helps after he vomited has he’s emitted the phlegm but as a result he losses weight. And it’s ongoing for weeks. I went to a fantastic Paediatrician called Dr Harraz, next to Al Kindi hospital. He try’s to encourage a recovery process without medical intervention like antibiotics etc. He provided an inhaler and nose spray which settles the symptoms. I’d also suggest giving Kiwi fruit as they are highly packed with vit C to keep the cold/flu germs at bay.
Meenakshi V. replied:
My son had the same problem.....ended up nebulizing every week. Best solution is homeopathy.. .start at an early age...then it helps to build immunity...refer Dr.Asha from bahrain medical group...39261316

Hi dear, my son had the same issue last year for more than a week. I took him to Dr. BK Sajeev of KIMS Um al Hassan, paediatric doctor. He's the best I have seen as his diagnosis is really upto the mark. Inhalations and all are good but please make sure your child has got the right antibiotics. My son was prescribed 3 set of injections as he was on the border line of catching a pneumonia.. Once we started the medicines for him he became better with both fever and cough. Tc. Hope your kid gets well soon!!
Sophia M. replied:
Go to any hospital to have a blood test and an x-ray to your little one. The blood test will show if it is viral infection or bacterial infection. If it is bacterial you need to give him antibiotics, nothing else will work. I recommend dr. Jofrelyn at Bahrain Specialist Hospital in Juffair or Saar. She did an x-ray to my baby and found out that he suffered from mild pneunonia which was treated with antibiotics.
Annie R. replied:
Nebulisation is the only option now in this case.... but u got to have a 2 nd opinion before it gets worst. Cough usually takes even over 2 weeks.... as long as it's showing improvements but if not then you have to get your child checked again. Dr. Rasheed at BSH is also a good pediatrician.
