CHOP in Media is great, as is The Elwyn Development center for childcare.
Philitsa H. replied:
Childcare: I highly recommend the Development Center at Elwyn. When my girls were that age (they're 6 and 8 now), I toured a few daycares, and they all seemed like baby prisons. The Development Center is very interactive and they focus on developmental milestones much more than other places that I looked. This is nerve-wracking, so I wish you luck!

Dr. Mo at Penn Medicine in Media. They are open some days until 7:30 pm. Never had an issue getting an appointment the same day if sick.
Amy K. replied:
Dr. Soffer at Penn Medicine in Media. I can't say enough about that practice. I have had good experiences with all of the doctors I've seen there over the years. That's important because if you're calling for a same day appointment, you may not get the doctor identified as your primary. The fact that it's Penn affiliated is also important to me.
Chuck R. replied:
Dr. Peter Christie. No evening hours but you can usually get a same day appointment. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Good and caring man. Never sat in waiting room longer than 10 minutes. Hard to believe, but yes less than 10 minutes. He listens to you and never ever talks down to you.

Amy A. replied:
This is a bigger practice, but I can't not share how wonderful Dr. Marc Wertheimer at Penn Medicine on State Street is! He takes time (you don't feel rushed), he cares (shares personal stories and relates to your life), and is also thorough from a medical examination perspective.
Elizabeth S. replied:
Peter Nonack, Penn Internal Medicine, State Street in Media, 610-565-8600, the BEST.
Jennifer T. replied:
Dr Gavis and Dr Prime on state st are great! (610) 480-5176
Tara L. replied:

Alexis L. replied:
I was seeing the nurse practitioner at Dr. Prime's office, and she was great! Insurance changed and now I'm signed up to see Dr. Mo at Penn Medicine, who got the most recommendations when I asked this question months and months ago. Seems like it's hard to go wrong with docs in this town!
I suspect this has been asked already, but I'd appreciate recommendations of a trusted primary care physician in the area. Whom do you like -- and why? Thanks!
Krystle F. replied:
David Broyles in Middletown on 352. I love him. Every appointment I have had with him, I have never felt rushed, never felt like my concerns were being downplayed- and I didn't have insurance at the time so he urged me to contact him through email instead of office visits to avoid being charged money. He's just an all around good guy. 610-627-3660.
