If you're looking for a vet, I would absolutely recommend Brookhaven Animal Hospital. Dr. Kwon treats his animals better than anyone I've ever met. He will call you back after hours and even come into the office if there's an emergency. He's literally saved my dogs life, more than once.

Brookhaven vet and providence pediatrics as for child care I recommend visiting all the ones in the area. Score selecting. Everyone has different priorities for care.

We love Providence Pediatrics. I think there is a house for rent in Riddlewood on Rampart East, but I don't know anything about the price, # beds/baths, etc. Great family friendly neighborhood a very short drive from the borough.

CHOP Springfield. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Arem. She's a Yale grad. Kinda dry and to the point but I respect her experience and opinion. Both of my children have been her patients since birth. Providence animal shelter is wonderful. Annuals, teeth cleaning, preventative meds are all affordable and I admire the staff. CHOP in Media is great, as is The Elwyn Development center for childcare.

Childcare: I highly recommend the Development Center at Elwyn. When my girls were that age (they're 6 and 8 now), I toured a few daycares, and they all seemed like baby prisons. The Development Center is very interactive and they focus on developmental milestones much more than other places that I looked. This is nerve-wracking, so I wish you luck!

We have a 6 month old and have been very happy with Providence Pediatrics and Crew Kids Daycare. Also my husband and I like the Penn Internal Medicine GP practice in Media. We take our dog to Township Line Animal Hospital - it's about 20 min away but they're wonderful and after a literal near-death experience somewhere else we won't switch again. And welcome:)

I love Dr. Patrica Montgomery as a PCP. Also, I would avoid Dr. Burns & Dr. Craporo as your OB. I did not have a good experience with the practice during my pregnancy.

Dr. Soffer at Penn Medicine in Media. I can't say enough about that practice. I have had good experiences with all of the doctors I've seen there over the years. That's important because if you're calling for a same day appointment, you may not get the doctor identified as your primary. The fact that it's Penn affiliated is also important to me.

Dr. Peter Christie. No evening hours but you can usually get a same day appointment. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Good and caring man. Never sat in waiting room longer than 10 minutes. Hard to believe, but yes less than 10 minutes. He listens to you and never ever talks down to you.

I just switched over to Penn Medicine and had a very pleasant experience at my first visit. Really glad I switched!

I go to Rose Tree Medical Associates in the medical buildings attached to Riddle Hospital. It's pretty easy to get sick visits.

David Broyles in Middletown on 352. I love him. Every appointment I have had with him, I have never felt rushed, never felt like my concerns were being downplayed- and I didn't have insurance at the time so he urged me to contact him through email instead of office visits to avoid being charged money.
