I really like Dr Amy at Metro Eye in the Third Ward.

I went to Metro Eye on Deb Reiser's recommendation and examination was top-notch. They actually show you a picture of your whole eye in living color and tell you what's going on with it.

Friends--any recommendations for an ophthalmologist? I need to see one for a little problem I'm having and the office staff of my longtime one, who I haven't seen for...
Carolyn W. replied:
Thanks you guys--I will give them a call tomorrow. And Jim Del Balso, my longtime eye doc is also in your bldg--Kamal Nassif. Nice enough guy but let's just say that his staff was not having a good day. And his wife Ninette Nassif (also in the bldg) was my longtime internist--I adored her but knew I might have to make a change this year when the ACA took effect. Mixed feelings about leaving her but my new primary and all of my Aurora docs are wonderful too. Small world though!
Jim B. replied:
I hear great things about Dr. Nassif, never met him. The staff at Suson's have issues too, sometimes not customer friendly, but care is good.
Can someone recommend a Bay View Ophthalmologist? Thanks!!
Tina M. replied:
Dr. Yang is an Opthamologist at St. Lukes. He just did both my Mom's cateract surgeries this month. I'm sure if you go talk to her she will give you the contact info.
Anybody have a great eye doctor within 2 miles that they want to review or recommend? Seems like Visionworks, Herslof and Bronze are in my network.
Wendy T. replied:
I don't think Bronze has an optometrist. They referred me to Sears Optical in Brookfield a couple years ago. I know it's far, but the optometrist there really has given me the best exams I've ever had.
AJ C. replied:
Bronze is the place to go, hands down. Not only is Dr Andy awesome, but Bronze has frames you won't find anywhere else. You also won't see them on anyone else, he often will limit who gets what frames. A friend was looking at the same frames as my husband, Bronze wouldn't let him have them until he first spoke to my husband, and got his OK. And, if you are lucky enough to have Bronze, himself, work with you, you couldn't possibly be in better hands. Both my husband and I regularly get compliments about our frames from strangers.
I have off Wednesday and Thursday this week.
I get depressed when I don't accomplish anything on my days off.
Can anyone recommend a good dentist and ophthalmologist...

Any recomendations on a good eye doctor around here? My Great Dane scratched my eye this morning and my normal doctor is in Madison. No way can I drive! Ouch...
Jay S. replied:
I go to Milwaukee Eye Care Associates on Prospect.
Good morning! Happy Monday peeps. It's been recommended that I take Sarai, who is 3 yo, to see an eye doctor. Any referrals for a good pediatric optometrist?
