I highly recommend Chase River Vet. They're amazing and constantly get high ratings http://www.vetratingz.com/m/searchResults.jsp?thingname=&city=Nanaimo&state=BC&zip=&radius=10 Check it out for yourself

Both of our cats are at Central Island Vet on Bowen road - we have no complaints!

I tried chase river, but they are just too far for me to drive. After many recommendations, I take my Sparks to the vet on Wellington http://www.nanaimovet.com They are awesome and have fair pricing! Sparky actually gets very upset if I keep him the car to grab his food. He LOVES going in.

Petroglyph is awesome, and I would avoid the Island Veterinary Hospital as I had a pretty bad experience with them.

I like Island vet as well! Just got my puppy spayed there and she had absolutely no issues or complications. My pup has seen almost all the vets there ans they are all great! Definitely recommend them

Brett Haywood, owner and vet of Nanaimo Veterinary Hospital is a decent guy, and so is the new female vet working there. We've taken our pets there as long as we've had pets.Brett's a very honest, well humoured person and very knowledgeable. http://www.nanaimovet.com/ Prices are fair and staff are competent.

Island Veterinary Hospital was good to us with our cat, honest about treatment options and costs.
Dr Simon. He and his team are so caring, they don't push unnecessary stuff and they're all very gentle

Parksville animal hospital is the best in my books! Dr. Simon and staff are top notch. I switched from Bellevue which I found cold, clinical and eager to run expensive tests.
Parksville Animal Hospital is good. It's the only vet our dog wants to see.

We go to Dr. Lesage at Bellvue and she is awesome. I haven't found them keen to run expensive tests - in my experience, it's the opposite! Compassionate, professional, and the receptionists/assistants are all lovely. Dr. Stean is pretty great, too.

Parksville animal hospital... Dr. Simon

I completely agree with Jessie Carnahan ^^^ Lighthouse Vet is the BEST! I've been taking all of my cats and dogs there for at least 12 years now. I've tried the rest and nope...Lighthouse is the one for us. Totally care for the animals rather then the money. Dr Hanna is fantastic and Dr Sandy even gave me her home phone number when my cat was close to loosing an eye. Other then the ER clinic in Nanaimo, there is no where else I will take them. Its a little drive but so worth it.

Jeff Dahl at Bellevue very caring....always a great experience with him won't see any other vets there tho just him.

I only had one experience with Benson View and I love them for it. We brought our old cat in because she was experiencing some issues. They told us it was cancer and offered to put her down. A few days later they sent us a card and personally signed it. They even went so far as to chose a card that had a cat with similar colours. The gesture really touched our whole family especially since we had never brought our cat there before and they didn't even know us
Dr. Brett Hayward at Nanaimo Veterinary Hospital. He is located on Wellington Rd. tel:+12507583985 I have been going there for 8 years. In July, my 12 year old dog was diagnosed with lymphoma. Brett Hayward is truly wonderful and treats animals as family. He helped me through this difficult process right from diagnosis, through having to eventually put her down. We were in touch every few days during this time. It was the hardest thing I have been through, but a situation that was so hard on my heart, was softened with love, compassion and genuine care I received from this clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Hayward.

Pretty sad. We lived in Tofino for many years & relied on Dr Jane. She was 1/2 hour out side of Ukee by logging road. Country doctor nothing fancy, very honest, but open 24/7. Very fair prices & would tell you if you need to go to town as she wasn't able to help. She was shut down due to complaints from idk who, only rumors. 2 &1/2 hour drive from the West Coast. Hope all works out for you.
Could some one tell me telephone number to pets clinic pls have no tel book Pls and Thanks
Brandi M. replied:
