Aspetuck Animal Hospital is awesome. The staff there are very caring, compassionate, they listen to you and your concerns,etc etc. Roxbury Animal Clinic is another great place. But Aspetuck like you said have a 24 hour emergency

Minute Clinic@CVS does take Husky. I don't know if they cover physicals (if that's what your looking for) with Husky, but I've gone for spider bite, sore throat...ear ache...ect when Dr Turchiano's was closed.

The Mobile Health Clinic bus will be in the seniors back parking lot..on the..2 nd and last tues..of every month..from 2:30-5:00 PM..the clinic # is 203-743-0100..you might give them a call ..see if they can be of service to you.

Try Seifert and Ford Health Center on Main Street in Danbury. Its part of the Danbury Hospital.

Candlewood Valley Pediatrics. They are all great. We have been with Dr. Hack for almost 19 years - he's wonderful!

We use Candelwood Valley Peds - I feel like we have seen every Dr there for a "sick appointment" and I have never felt that they didn't take their time with us. Our daughter sees Dr. Beck as the full time Dr. we felt having a woman Dr. would be easier as our daughter grows up to discuss female things with compared to a man but, they are all really great there!

I feel very, very lucky to have such a wonderful practice that is Candlewood Valley Pediatrics right here in NM. We have been with them for over 8 years and have seen all of the doctors. The entire staff from front to back is on top of their game. We love everyone there but Dr. Fanella has been a true partner to us. He has never rushed us and I trust him immensely. He is also always right! He never lets us down.

Candlewood Valley Pediatrics. From the moment you walk in the office staff takes care of you. Nurses are all wonderful as well as each of the Doctor's.

Another vote for candlewood valley pediatrics. We've also seen every Dr there but our main Dr is Dr Abel and he is amazing. The whole practice is wonderful. The staff is accomadating and you can always get an appointment. They have great hours for working parents and truly end up knowing you and your family. They get my vote 1000 times over.

Kept Marici for 2 years but with three kids and opening a daycare I could no longer travel down here to him. But we just moved back here about 3 weeks ago. Trying to decide what to do. My health has changed dramatically since I last seen Marici. But he was great

Dr Grace Federman Advanced Dermcare. I highly recommend her. She has an office in Danbury and Southbury. I have had several cancerous spots removed (not a trace of a scar) and she detected melanoma the size of a pin head on my arm. She is thorough in her cancer skin checks and highly professional. I have been seeing her for 20 years.

Dr. Zalka will never, ever rush you. She is very thorough. I go to her for the same reason. She is also very good at making me feel comfortable there.

Dr. Rhett Drugge in Stamford. He invented the melanoscan. Takes a picture of your entire body once a year. Then compares the next year to see any changes. Dr.'s around here don't take pictures. Told me to go to Sloane Kettering if that's what I want

Dr. Lipper - office in Danbury and Southbury - same practice as Gohara. He caught a melanoma on my face when I went to him about a different spot. I was very lucky. it was a melanoma in situ - stage zero. Plus he recommended a fabulous plastic surgeon for its removal.

Dr Notaro in Danbury is very good. Right across from the hospital and does not dismiss any concerns or fears and is good about dealing with moles, skin tags, birth marks, etc. and having them removed and tested if necessary.

Has 8 am appointments available, stays til after six, is known to work through lunch if needed, and because it is just him, he will always be the one to see your child and that will make it easier to follow the child's care....

Community Health Associates! Love Dr Modwel! she spent a full hour with me for my first appointment- trying to diagnose a problem.

Dr Farrell or Dr Mascia of Western Connecticut Medical Group - used to be Brookfield Family Medicine in Brookfield- just past Costco.

I always recommend Dr. Jennifer Holloway on Mt. Pleasant near exit 9 - wonderful care and a great PA if you need short notice appts for routine things. I know she has gotten increasingly busy so it is hard to get a new patient appt but she is worth the wait. Many nurses I know prefer her as their own PCP as well.

If you don't mind going to New Milford, New Milford Medical Group is fantastic. Dr. Leonardi is my PCP but I see one of their PA's, Dimitri, for most visits. He's amazing - thorough, caring, spends time and pays attention. He's worth his weight in gold. nmmedicalgroup.com

A second one for Community Health Associates, although I'm going to recommend.....guess it.....!? Dr. Isgut! LOL I haven't seen him in a while, and he is always traveling, but he is a phenomenal physician. Very old school, a true believer in spending however long it takes with the patient. So I'm guessing that when he left the old practice at 33 Church Hill Road, he joined another one that believes the same way (as in Dr. Modwell). Choosing a physician for me is tough, because of what I do for a living - I've sued so many of them. unsure emoticon

I agree on Dr. Isgut, one of my favorites to work with as a nurse, great diagnostician

When my daughter was 2 weeks old, we brought her in to him for a well visit, and she was co-sleeping with us (she did so until 18 months). When Dr. Isgut asked how she was sleeping, I sheepishly said "with us" (well, in Spanish since I'm Colombian). He went "do it - it's natural."

Been seeing Dr. Konic since we moved here a couple years ago and really like her. She was the first doctor I tried based on reviews and have kept going. The practice though is busy and when ur sick, they steer u towards PAs though I do like who they have. I did have to make an app just today to see Dr. Konic and she is so busy, I have to see one of the other doctors and not until next Friday. That part really stinks but then again that's how these practices usually are.
