I'm looking for a reputable, licensed home inspector to help us with potential serious construction issues that our builder is denying. Any good references? Thanks!

Douthit Thermal, LLC can come in and look at problems. We are a reputable contractor in Newberg. We specialize in home performance. We are not home inspectors but depending on the issues we have an infrared camera that detects heat differences so can d etermine water leaks, heat loss and see if insulation is missing in walls etc... We are getting our house ready to sell and would like to know if anyone knows a good home inspector....some are good and some are stinkers. Any references? Thanks

Linda I would check with your realtor...unless you're selling yourself or a pre-inspection. If I remember right when your realtor requests inspection they don't get to choose. I could be wrong. Tiffany Rider or Amanda Rider
Tiffany R. replied:
Hello Linda, The only time that the seller of a home would choose the inspector is if they decide to do a pre-list inspection. This would be so that you could identify any issues with your home that could potentialy cause a sale fail after you find a buyer for your home. Whether or not you choose to do a pre-inspection would be a discussion for you and your Realtor if you are already working with a ReAltor. If not, I would love to speak to you further and see if my partner and I may be a good fit for you listing your home. Please feel free to text, email or call with any further questions you may have. Looking for a local home inspector that's under $500 and can do an inspection fairly soon.
Angela L. replied:
Most home inspections are based on the sq ft of the home. We do have available times end of next week. https://m.facebook.com/Pillar-To-Post-Yamhill-County-250271975173798/
