I see one of your friends discouraged going to Dr. Oppenheim. Sorry to hear that he has gotten that way. He did my Lasik surgery nearly 14 years ago and he was wonderful. I had a complication and he gave me his personal phone number and met me on a Saturday to make sure that I was doing okay. There are other doctors in the Hampton Roads Eye Associates. When you are dealing with any kind of specialist, and ophthalmologists are specialists, there is often a discrepancy between the time of your scheduled appointment and the time you actually see the doctor. I hope you find someone who is more "on time."

Oh my Mom went to Dr Kaz for surgery and I had to take her. It was ridiculous! She is very good but they way overbook and have no consideration for your time. The office staff were rude at times too!

Yep Dr McQuain. I was in there with Wyatt 5 minutes, done. Eye exam, glasses in a week. And they know Fed VSP very well.

I too got fed up with Dr. Kaz. Rude and no consideration for you the patient. I go to Dr. Spellman. He along with the Office staff are very nice and considerate.

He is an ophthalmologist not an optometrist, or optician. Kent B Mc Quain & Associates-Optometrist-my script is expensive-I shopped years ago, and last summer-sticker shot as always on frames, but best prices on doing their own work on lenses. Very nice people.

DO NOT go to Oppenhiem....he is terrible at doing that. I worked there for 2 weeks and quit because he would start his scheduling at 8 am and then show up at 930 and blame the front office for not doing their job and scheduling correctly. He would leav e and have 2 hour lunches with his buddies when patients that were scheduled at 10 were still waiting and it was 12 noon. He didn't even know his office managers name and she had worked there 3 years.....is Dr. Kaz in that office or friends with him?
