My Rottie had to have a hip replacement. Dr. Dejardin at MSU is an AMAZING DR. AND COMPASSIONATE MAN. Yes, it was expensive, about $6 k. I opened a Visa Card to pay for it.
Lisa P. replied:
Brody is at Wilson Vet Hospital in Romeo right now with a dislocated Hip. I think they estimated costs $300-1000. Hip had not been put back into place as of my last update
Patricia C. replied:
That is the correct phone number, I just made a donation. If I understand correctly Wilson Vet will put a cap on how much money they accept so as not to exceed his maximum initial care. Unfortunately even though they've received several calls they are no where near the minimum cost, much less the cap. ;-( I don't know Brody or his family, but since today I was not physically able to help, I did what I could now that he has been found. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.
Have them call care credit and see if they can get approved. 1-800-859-9975. Donaldson clinic248-391-2000 can get him in and use the gofundme later to pay on care credit
Lisa P. replied:
We know where all the local vets are located. This is about finding vet to provide IMMEDIATE care. Please don't give suggestions on who we should call. If we had time to call everyone we would. Really in desperate need of someone with actual info. Sorry if this doesn't sound right.. I'm tired and cold and trying to expedite care.
Drew P. replied:
Try Dr. Glidden at Lakeville animal clinic in Oxford he is really great about making payment arrangements for animals and they work with another business that does immediate care!

Help! I have 3 indoor cats and a Frontline treated dog that goes in and out. My dog had one flea on him and then I noticed all 3 cats have them pretty bad. There looks...
Roxanne T. replied:
Use a good cat flea shampoo with pyrithrins. Then use flea drops designed for cats. Because the fleas will chew up the people next, you have to treat your house. Vacuum EVERYTHING. Fogger won't kills fleas in the pupal stage. The vibration from the vacuum cleaner will make the adult fleas emege exposing them to the fogger. Put all food stuffs away, cover the aquarium with a wet towel and turn off the electricity running the lights, pump and filter. Farm out your animals and take the kids to the movies. When you come home, wipe off all surfaces that come into contact with food and air out the house. Repeat in a couple of weeks to get those fleas that didn't hatch out of the pupua the first time around and your good!
