Any recommendations for a good spinal surgeon, neurologist or orthopedic surgeon? I need some follow up and am new to Park City.

Lynn Gaufin (pronounced guh-feign) is Reichman's partner. They are at Utah Neurological Clinic in Provo. 801-357-7404 You'll likely need a referral from your primary doctor. Dr. Gaufin did my lumbar discectomy and also a lumbar spinal fusion. Awesome team of docs.

NOT Charles Rich. He completely misdiagnosed me. Dr. Khatchataryn at CORE in South Jordan. He fit me in for a second opinion after Rich wouldn't see me again after sever tingling in my leg and spent 1 hour going over what was happening and how he was going to fix it. After a fusion I am feeling fabulous! I could have been paralyzed without this surgery. Feel free to PM me for more details.

Rosenberg-Cooley-Metcalf.... Part of TOSH in SLC. They have an office at the PC Hospital too. Those 3 are knees/shoulders but they surely have a back doc in their practice.

And there are great Doctors in Salt lake that are just as good. Just because someone worked on Tiger doesn't mean others aren't as good, and by the way Mark Omeara referred him. And not all ski team members go here. FYI.....Park City Hospital is the most expensive in the IHC system. Don't base your decision on what a "celebrity " does. Be smart.. Do research and always get a second opinion.
Looking for recommendations for a Neurologist, specific for cognitive testing for my father-in-law. Thanks!

Intermountain has a good team, University of Utah is the best but you will have to wait sometime. Dr Mohammed Shoari in SLC is excellent and you may be able to get an appointment within a couple months. If he deems your father in law needs further testing he may refer you to the University of Utah much quicker than a primary care physician could. I have recently brought my mother to him and I have been very pleased with his professionalism and kindness. Good luck!
