I got my dress at Unveiled Bridal on Washington square. I don't remember how long we had to wait, but it wasn't months I don't think.

Philadelphia Bridal Company! Small place, but very helpful staff and you get it all to yourself. I made appointments 1-2 weeks out, and ended up buying my dress there on sample, so I saved a lot of money too.

Nordstrom King of Prussia was also a great experience and it was fun to try on some really nice designer gowns. Great customer service and no pressure (unlike some of the other shops listed above).

Bijou Bridal is wonderful. On montgomery avenue in Ardmore. Ask for bridal consultant sarah. They also have many designers and price points. Good luck and congratulations!

I looked a bunch of places -- I can barely remember the names of all the places, but I remember Ann Bailey's Bridal in Fountainville, PA, Bijou Bridal in Ardmore, PA and Coronet Bridal in Feasterville, PA. Coronet is kind of random and does not look impressive from the outside (or inside, either). BUT, they have a great selection of dresses, so don't let that deter you. There will be overlap in manufacturer's from shop to shop but the fancier boutiques will charge you more, so keep that in mind. Not sure if that's a factor for you or not. Coronet's kind of overstock their racks, though, because from what I remember, there were so many dresses I could barely pull them out from the rack. They were my last stop, when I was completely frustrated about not being able to find a unique dress, and I randomly found my dress there! It was several thousand dollars, but I stole the dress name/# off the tag and bought it elsewhere for a lot less. I ultimately ordered my dress through One Stop Wedding Shoppe in Horsham, PA. They don't carry dresses, so you need to know your size, manufacturer, and dress name/#. I'm also not sure if they still order dresses or not since this was almost 4 years ago, but it's worth asking if you know exactly what you want -- could save some money and spend it on other things for the wedding! If you're looking for more of a Kleinfeld's experience, I think Bijou might be a good start. Happy hunting! http://www.bijoubridal.com/location/pennsylvania
